New Build Inspections Limited Omdömen 

We used New Build Inspections after buying our home in June. After reviewing a number of options, we settled on NBI based on reviews and thoroughness of their reports as described on their website. We had heard questionable reviews on new build properties so wanted to ensure we had a thorough snagging report done. And it was the best decision we could have made.
The inspection took several hours but was incredibly thorough, reporting on almost 250 snags. This goes to show the detail they look at and we couldn't be more grateful as it led to some significant finds.
Whilst the building company were not thankful, we certainly have been.
Not only that, but New Build Inspections have continued to support us beyond the snagging report. We have a number of issues with the builders who have refused to do some of our more significant snags. We sought advice from NBI who talked us through, advised and have supported us with proceeding with small claims against the builders.
They are more than just a simple snagging company. They are knowledgable, helpful, invested in us, the customer, and above all else know what should and shouldn't be accepted.
Thank you so much New Build Inspections for all of your support. I can't recommend them enough.

Word of advice - new build properties aren't all that - do your research thoroughly first!

Arranged at very short notice, great communication and superb service provided. Everything was thoroughly explained and Martyn made us feel at ease. The report was concise and helped provide the developer with information I would never have thought of. A thermal inspection could not be done at the time as it was too warm in July so Martyn asked me to remind him it needed doing when it got colder. I reminded him today and they are coming out tomorrow, really can't complain about that superb service.

We were very pleased with the 'next day' availability of a snagging server but a little reserved for the same reason. However, the surveyor, Mo, that came was absolutely brilliant. Turned up right on time, was very respectful of our home, was utterly charming and really efficient. We had already found a few 'snags' which he reviewed with us and then went to town. would have absolutely no reservations about recommending the company and, to top it all, the cost was about half what I had anticipated

We got in touch with Martyn after some friends and new neighbours recommendation. We were not disappointed!! Martyn has been very helpful form the first second we talked with him. Even on short notice, he managed to accommodate to do the inspection on our move in day. Also, due to a mistake with our loft key, he organised one of his colleagues to come by and finish off the inspection once we got the loft key. The report was very detailed, covering all the aspects of interest and apart from that, we got lots of advice from someone with such a vast experience in new builds. I honestly could not recommend Martyn and his team enough!!

I was really impressed with the service by New Build Inspections. I was able to book an appointment to get my new house inspected really quickly. The inspection report we received afterwards was really thorough and showed lots of details and photos of each issue spotted. I was also able to ask the inspector follow-up question afterwards to get further details. I would highly recommend using this company.

After moving into a new build with a number of serious snags, NBI assisted greatly and swiftly with identifying issues and presenting them in an easy to read, summarised format. This is exactly what you need in order to press your developers/builders and instigate action.

In my case, the build quality is far below what is expected. The expectation level was explained to me by the surveyor, Mo, who was both good conversation and knowledgeable.

Mo explained exactly what standard aspects of the flat should be at, and used language that could be understood by all. He identified everything I had notice and more, which emphasised my faith in the company, and gave me full transparency on the quality of my purchased flat.

I am tremendously happy with the service.

NB: My only suggestion of improvement is when emailing to include a signature bearing the identification of the company, and to have an easy-to-use document or electronic form to complete the pre-assessment questionnaire. This suggestion is purely for ease of use and does not detract from the service whatsoever.

Agreed to meet Martyn on the morning we got keys to our new property, when we arrived he had already begun inspecting the outside areas.

Following a delay, we went through our introduction to the house as Martyn carried out his work diligently, after which he provided us with a detailed report and some insider knowledge on the processes to follow.

We were really put at ease by having the assistance and expertise of someone with such knowledge of the industry, and can't recommend the company enough.

I couldn't be more impressed with the service I have received from start to finish. The ladies in the office are all fab, I have spoken with Karen and both the Lorraine's and all of them have gone above and beyond to help me. Andy completed my snag report after I had completed a couple of preliminary snags off my own back. Andy picked up snags in areas I hadn't even thought to check and couldn't be more helpful in explaining all processes to me. Nothing was too much trouble for him and his flexibility made the process so much less stressful. Since receiving the report my solicitor has flagged a couple of questions and Martyn got in touch straight away and has answered all my questions perfectly. Thank you for all your help and support so far! I know we will speak many more times between now and my completion. You have definitely put my mind at ease and I could not recommend you enough!

The process from booking to the inspection was efficient and professional, including both the administration and technical staff, Lorraine and Andy. Andy was very thorough and experienced. He carried out the survey with great care and explaining the findings with patience and understanding. The report was produced the next day and findings were very well presented and is useful in following up with the developer. I have already recommended the firm and Andy to another friend!

The inspector (Andy) was present on time, friendly and approachable throughout and professional in his very thorough approach. The feedback from the report was provided promptly and no difficulties were encountered in any step of this process. I am very pleased with the job that was carried out and would highly recommend the team for anyone looking to snag a new build property.

We had a build inspection yesterday - the booking process, the information providing pre, during and post the inspection has been timely and very well considered / informative.
The inspectors were exceptionally professional and efficient in their review of our property, and the report has already been delivered so I can ship it off to the builder.
I am looking forward to their support through the remediation process with the builder.

Excellent service that is thoroughly recommended. Very clear and prompt communication in setting up the order. Access to a very competent and professional surveyor who arrived on time and was very thorough. Timely issue of report. Available for follow-up but at the moment not required / used.

First class professional service from start to finish. Having had extremely poor service trying to arrange a snag with NBS Inspections (avoid at all costs) - took them 6.5 weeks to tell me that they had forgotten about me after me chasing constantly - very unprofessional. Contacted New Build Inspections received a reply within an hour and inspection arranged at a time to suit us within a week. Andy arrived on time and did a very thorough job ( here over 4 hours ) received detailed report next day!! Would not hesitate to recommend or use this company in the future. You can be sure of a highly professional service.

We recently booked new build inspections to perform a snagging inspection at our new 3 build detached house.

Our inspector was Ryan. He was amazing, on time, punctual and very professional. His knowledge and information about a new house was incredible and we couldn’t fault him at all. A credit to the company.

The inspection was between 2-3 hours.

The report was submitted a few days later which included photos with all snags identified.

I would highly recommend new build inspections for anyone buying a new house.

A really first class service. From start to finish everything was done in a timely and efficient manner. Our inspector was professional and clearly very knowledgeable. We would never have been aware of many of the issues drawn to our attention. I have no hesitation in recommending this company to other potential users.

Professional, friendly and efficient service from New Build Inspections. I was surprised by the level of detail and the types of issues that were picked up in the snagging report. I certainly wouldn't have noticed or thought to check a number of issues that were reported, so it was worthwhile having someone in the know conduct a survey. It should also save me time and hassle in the future as these issues can (hopefully) be actioned in bulk by the developer now, rather than me uncover issues one by one in the weeks/months/years to come.

I had been advised by family and friends to get a professional snag survey done, as it had been one their regrets when it came to their own experience of buying a new house, with years of issues as a result of something that could have been rectified early on.

Without a doubt, it was well worth the money; I don't do snag surveys day-in-day-out, and would have had no clue what to look for. A large list of items, and only a couple that won't be addressed by the builder.

These guys were simply outstanding in their attention to detail regards the snagging. I was hesitant to use a snagging company to begin with but am so, so grateful that my wife persuaded me to use NBI.
I doubt the Developer/Builder was pleased but, thanks to NBI, were made to right the wrongs that they had done (or not done!!) thanks to the thorough inspection. This has saved me thousands of pounds and hours of hassle.
Quite simply - everyone things they can 'snag' a house themselves.....but they are fooling themselves. Thank you, NBI, much appreciated!!

New build inspection are excellent company. They have carried out most professional snagging inspection. And gave valuable advice. My snagging inspection was done by Paul who was so throughour. He has inspection big to very minor details in very professional and immaculate. Would recommend to family and friends .⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐.
