Disappointing service. Booked and confirmed for 1400. Based on that I booked 1418 train. When driver turned up at 1410, no apology. When I said ai had train in 8 minutes, was that my problem now, he just said 'no comment'. No discount offered. Said I needed to speak to office. What happened to a simple 'sorry. Call it a tenner'?

I have used Neales on a number of occasions. However, I was recently disappointed by the quality of service offered. The taxi was 20 mins late to pick up, followed by the car actually being deemed unsafe to drive (this included fumes coming from the back of the car, smoke and a flat tyre). It wasn't until I notified the driver to pull over that he decided he should take the car back to Neales in High Wycombe. In total it took us 2 hours to get home, arriving back at 2am... for a 15min estimated journey time. We were still charged full price for the journey (£60) and we're only offered a discount of £10 on the next journey. The main point here being that the car was unsafe to pick up and drop off passengers in (with the driver already previously knowing this prior to pick up). And secondly, being the poor and unhelpful customer service that followed. Not impressed.

The taxi driver picked up my mentally handicapped brother who is unable to look after or care for himself, drove away and then returned a short while later because their booking system had incorrectly cancelled the booking and refunded the payment. They left him alone, outside where he was picked up from, by which time my mother had left to go elsewhere and hadn’t been informed. HOW CAN ANY TRUSTWORTHY FIRM OR DECENT HUMAN BEING DO THAT TO SOMEONE SO VULNERABLE and put in him in danger like they did. No concern from the operator. I wouldn’t be surprised if this was actually criminal behaviour.

Wish I can give them no Stars at all. Absolutely rubbish service, rude operator who sounded like he has absolutely no care in the world and isn't bother at all that because of their utter incompetence someone's very important plans can be destroyed. Booked a taxi for Wed 5th Nov morning the night before and received confirmation txt too. When taxi didn't turn up in the morning and no update received, I called Neal's and the operator said due to accident somewhere on M40 their entire taxi fleet is delayed and my driver is one of the ones stuck on the motorway. When asked when did they first realised that taxi would be delayed and why no one called me to let me know so I can make alternate plans, the operator tried to fob me off saying the taxi will be coming in 10mins. When I insisted on getting assurance that it's definitely coming in 10mins, he simply hung up. Not taking any chances, I called D2D/Tiger taxis to get a cab and within minutes they arrived. D2D confirmed that they have no knowledge of any accident on M40. And guess what, no taxi from Neal's turned up in 10mins. In fact, exactly an hour after the original booking Neal's taxi with driver Serg/Sergio turned up and pretended that his record shows the booking for an hour later. Absolute lies as he couldn't forward me the booking screenshot. I have all the txt and call records with time stamps from 5th Nov in case Neals try to come up with some BS excuse and more lies. Avoid them at all cost!

Taxi was 27 minutes late for booked job. Taxi was booked weeks ago to be able to attend an important hospital procedure. When we called to chase they said that they had had an unprecedented number of bookings through that morning. So I guess customer service isn’t important to those who have pre-booked. They happily take on other bookings to make themselves more money. Would not use this company again

Booked a taxi. Wrong address taken driver was late. £30 for a 3 mile journey! Extortionate.

Neals Taxis gave an excellent service for my recent drop-off to and collection at Gatwick.
They were super reliable, the communication was just excellent, and their tracking system is as good as any other.
The prices are very reasonable considering the convenience of being driven and picked up.
Also kudos to their staff, from those in office to the various drivers, all were extremely friendly & very helpful.

Unprofessional, rude. We’re due to pick up my elderly father from Amersham Hospital. They phoned to say they were there at 11am, on time, but the driver sat outside and did not inform anyone they were there. I phoned to complain, which made matters worse. They spoke over me, lied and said the driver went in and then hung up. The receptionist at Drake will confirm no one went in. The empty taxi drove past me when I arrived to pick my father up.
I watched my Dad being picked up, on time, which was good, I watched him walk to the car, using his stick and wondered if the driver might get out and open the door for him. No.
Dad said he tried to make conversation but the driver did not engage. What is happening to services these days. It makes me very sad. The NHS are paying for this awful service. Don’t deserve 1 star.
The previous transport people were faultless helpful and polite.

This is a review based on a consistent pattern of experience over half a dozen trip as follows
* They are always late
* They can never find the house
* The drivers are rude, argumentative and disrespectful
* The drivers lie
* The quality of driving is awful/borderline dangerous

We usually have positive experiences with Neales, but unfortunately, this time was different. The driver was very aggressive, which made the trip feel unsafe, especially as we were traveling with children. We were quite uncomfortable throughout the journey and hope this matter can be addressed to ensure the safety and comfort of passengers in the future.

Driver drove at 84mph on the A404 from junction 4 on the M40 to Marlow exit, down hill in the rain, she was left feeling upset by the speed and the manner in which he was driving, we will not be using them again

Honestly at my wits end with this company. I prebook my taxis a day before to take me to work. When the taxi is due I then get a call from the office telling me my taxi will be late. Where is the priority of prebooking? This taxi service is more late than on time and i've had enough. I've given them the benefit of the doubt for far too long now. My family and I have used this company for years and slowly my family have found other RELIABLE firms due to the same issues I experience. I will follow suit.

take a private bus to school with them, constantly 10-15min late, found a used needle on the bus today

I've just been in a shop where one of the drivers had a vulnerable old man in there, the driver was telling the shop keeper how he deserves more money from this vulnerable old man and the shop keeper was helping him tell this vulnerable old man to give him more money, the driver said how he's been with him for a long time when I literally saw him pick him up around the corner, this is out of order and I will be complaining to the council about this incident.

Recently customer experience has significantly deteriorated! Here’s just one example of how.
I planned and made a booking 2 weeks ahead, to secure my elderly mother’s favourite driver. No name provided to make sure he doesn’t get targeted as a trouble maker! When I called Neales the evening before the booking to confirm the journey, I was informed that my preferred driver, due to a family emergency wasn't going to be available. 😱 Concerned for my driver and his family, without questions, I gratefully accepted the alternative arrangements.

On the day of the journey i learn through a private message that I was blatantly lied to by the Neales telephonist.

When my driver went to the Neales office to confirm my journey he was told the job had been given to someone else. 😳
So wrong and completely unethical…

Disappointment all round which results in loss of customers and very frustrated and unhappy driver!

Booked a taxi at 1800 to be picked up at 2100 from Luton airport, 10 min after arrival called the office asking where is the driver waiting and the operator apologised and said he’s late as he had to drip off passengers elsewhere asked me to wait for 20 min.
After 40min waiting I called the office again but this time the answer was 10min away at this point I had enough and got an uber.
Received a text message from Neals “ The driver has left as he was unable to find you despite calling and texting. Please book again if required”!
When I asked why I received this message the operator was trying so hard to play smart by changing the time line ne of the event!
Suddenly another person grabbed the phone and introduced himself as J the shift manager and with no respect of over 8 years of using this company just hung up!!

Absolutely woeful taxi company with awful staff, year after year they get away with so much do not trust these especially if ur getting a taxi late at night! These are known to group up on people who are drunk about 20+ of them things will never change with neales scumbags
DO NOT USE

Driver failed to follow instructions. Failed to call my number. They did send another car but expected paying for both. The gentleman I spoke to was incredibly rude on the phone so for that, for £10 they have lost two weeks of shuttling my special needs child to and from his exams, and any other work I may have had. It is an incredible shame as I did like that company up until today. I judge a company on how it handles errors and this was handled as poorly as it could have been. Their representative stated he was there to make the company money, well, well done that man for loosing two weeks of business at least.

Neales taxis are not what they were! I remember back when i was a student and always used them for their excellent deals -but they really do charge through the odds for group bookings! If i could get a bigger car on uber i would but £250 to get to reading and back is ridiculous! Uber charge half that! Ive always been loyal to them for my group bookings but i was made to feel like a thief on Saturday when i politely asked if we could give 5 pounds on the way back as we had it missing and we were given a blunt no from the driver i just wish he had been a bit more understanding in front of my friends - didn't feel comfortable after that and it ruined the way there! Ive always paid upfront and been very good with my bookings with them but theres no sense of customer loyalty and i feel horrible - will be boycotting them for future!

Following an incident on the M25 when my car went over an object resulting in a fuel leak we had to get a taxi home via Direct Line insurance and Green Flag recovery. Neales Taxis were contracted to provide the taxi and came around 30 minutes after the call was made. Driver Umar in vehicle KP22 UER was courteous and helpful in taking us all the way back to Market Harborough over 80 miles away. We had holiday luggage with us and my adult daughter and my wife were simply glad to get home. We were very grateful for the rapid assistance and thank your company for responding so promptly.
