On-line booking was easy
On-line booking was easy. Selected tyres and fitting time the next day at offered time. If I had known that these tyres would not have been available the next day I would have selected better value tyres with a later fitting date. Arrived on time - no tyres - Chris phoned to find out why they were not there and was told delivery would be sometime before 8.00pm ( the branch closes at 6.00pm ). I left the car for a while but on return no tyres had arrived so I went home with the car and awaited a phone call to say the tyres had arrived. I finally got a call at 11.13am to say the tyres had arrived. They had been delivered to the wrong Halfords operation the previous evening at 5.30pm and it had taken them until that time to let National know where they were. I took the car back in and Chris and his team fitted them very promptly and efficiently. Good service from the staff on site, a terrible let down by the logistics support people. I have been a loyal customer of National for a number of years and would observe that the move into the "Halfords family" has not been for the best.
