Cancelled due to price rise.
Pretty disgusted with price rise. I've been with them since 1999, practically a founder member. I have just cancelled my Authenticated SMTP Access. In 2022 it cost me £34. In 2024 it was £54. This year, 2026, they want £150 !! since my URL does not come up for renewal until 2028 I consider that to be taking undue advantage over a captive client. I have cancelled the Authenticated SMTP Access and will be looking to move my hosting in 2028.

rubbish. you get what you paying really. everything its cheap innitially but than it becomes dead expensive, the software to use emails are rubbish. would not come back

Great technical support
Having used names for over two decades, they have grown and improved over the years. Just used their technical support where I initially wanted advice, but they took on the problem and followed the solution through to completion to save me having to.

Names continues to impress me
Names continues to impress me. When you call, you can always expect to talk to a real person. Best still - they are based in the UK! I recently called customer services and spoke to Bee. She was extremely helpful and was able to resolve my enquiry professionally and efficiently. Since I migrated the majority of my domains over from a US provider to Names I have had nothing but a good experience from them. I have been especially impressed when receiving calls from their customer care teams about features I was not using as well as introducing other services that I might be interested in. (Absolutely no hard sell). Can definitely recommend.

Did have to make several calls to sort my problem but generally billing receivers were extremely helpful. Technical were a little terse.
