Difficult to park at the front
Difficult to park at the front, but arrived early for my pre-booked slot at 2.30pm, was told it will take a few hours as they were busy, so had to walk 50min to get home. Got a text message at 5.16pm and a phone call at 5.23pm saying the car was ready to collect, baring in mind the shop closes at 5.30pm I had no way of getting to the shop location within time. The guy on reception was nice and said he could store my car overnight so come in at 8.30 am to collect in the morning. Got to location at 8.15am - the shop didn't open on time, when I got to the car, windows where wide open, bottles of water left in the car. Was charged £516 for 4 tyres and a 6 month service. Overpriced, service not as expected.

Thank you for talking the time to review our service and your experience. We take all feedback, both good and bad seriously and I’m sorry to hear you were not fully satisfied with your visit.
I would like to clarify a few points for transparency.
The price for the tyres and the 12-month service was confirmed at the time of your online booking. The only additional item carried out was a wheel alignment, which was recommended and agreed to during the visit. There were no unexpected charges added beyond this.
Parking outside the branch can sometimes be limited due to the location, which unfortunately is outside of our control.
Regarding the vehicle windows being open, this is part of normal workshop procedure as vehicles are frequently moved and accessed while work is being carried out. The Auto locking systems on some models means we leave a window open so we can ensure access.
The bottle of water left in the vehicle was simply an empty bottle accidentally left behind by a technician.
We are sorry for the late advice regarding your vehicle being ready for collection and on reflection we agree that wasn't up to our usual standards.
We appreciate the feedback and will share your comments with the team as we continue to improve our service. We hope you will consider using our service in the future.

Excellent service from Sam, friendly and helpful, I had to get 1 tyre replaced due to Notts pot holes, ordered online and Sam telephoned to give option due to delivery times, same price, fantastic, job well done on the day fast and efficient,highly recommend 🙂

The guys at mr tyre at Carlton branch are a pleasure to deal with nothing is to much trouble for them not like some garages we have used . They let you know what the problem is and they don’t push for the work a pleasure to deal with
That’s why I drive over 16 miles to use the garage so they must be doing something right . Well done gents .
