Mr & Mrs Smith (a nod to the classic check-in nom de plume for illicit stays of old) began life in 2003 with two adventurous hotel lovers (our real-life Mr and Mrs: James and Tamara Lohan) and has evolved into a global travel club with more than a million like-minded members.
Our carefully curated (and responsibly sourced) collection now includes hotels in the sky (if you’ve never woken up in a treehouse, we can change that), hotels in caves, hotels above water, hotels underwater (well, partially), hotels a million miles away, hotels on your doorstep…
It’s no accident that the collection is so special. Entry is by invitation only and every hotel is visited by our team and anonymously reviewed by a diverse bunch of trusted tastemakers.

Terrible customer experience
If you make a booking and have any issue whatsoever, good luck contacting anyone. They have no support email, a pointless 9 page web form to amend a booking, and nothing else.
I made a booking, appear to have a scam WhatsApp from the hotel asking for more money, and have absolutely no way to contact Mr and Mrs Smith for a very expensive booking .

Thank you for your feedback, i have requested further information to enable us to contact you and look into this as a matter of urgency.
Very costly way of booking accommodation
We booked through Mr & Mrs Smith because we had been given a voucher and that is the only way we could use it. However for any bookings that we looked at, it costs considerably less booking directly or through booking.com. We have booked The Pig Arundel but have ended up paying £1,000.00, with the voucher of £100 versus a rate of £834 if we had booked direct. The offer of a 'free' bottle of wine does not compensate for this difference.

Charles L. saved the day!
It’s my third time booking a hotel through Mr & Mrs Smith. I love the selection they offer, and although the options can be pricier, they have always been superb. This time, I had an issue with the platform and couldn’t complete my booking, but Charles was a godsend and helped sort everything out. He was incredibly helpful, detail-oriented, and made both my day and the booking process for my holiday much less stressful.

Nothing wrong with handling the booking…
Nothing wrong with handling the booking (nor should there be) but having tel was disappointing. Lovely old building but no inside or outside “lounge” space. Good very good and staff courteous and helpful.
