Really bad experience with this company.
Ordered two tyres for my Ducati. Few days later they informed me that they don’t know when they can deliver the front one.
I cancelled the order and they only refunded me the money for the front tyre. 6 days and three phone calls later and still no refund for the rear tyre.
Rubbish company.

Easy to use shop site,and easy to order the tyre arrived sooner than expected no problems.

Excellent tyres, excellent price, no drama service, what more could you ask for?

Always the best on price, I've been using moto-tyres for years.

Ordered tyres and inner tubes twice over the last 5 years and they have always delivered promptly, even during the pandemic. I fully recommend Moto Tyres to any motorcyclist for good safe maintenance of their mounts.

Ordered two tyres. (Same size, one for each of two motorcycles). Waited ages. Asked to cancel and refund, they said OK - money back with you soon.

That was simply a fob-off, tyres now delivered - some 4 weeks after order. Meantime I went off and ordered again from someone else.

Two tyres the same, but one a "GT" variant (more expensive) that supposedly better suits my 1400GTR. Markings on both tyres identical, so Lord only knows what I've got.

So I've now got 4 tyres in total, but that's OK with me, "stock" is good.

I realise the delays are probably down to Brexit, but given all the above (being treated with contempt), I shall not darken their door again!

one tyre turned up no contact about the other phones down so cant call I have to contact pay pal to arange a refund what is going on ?

No feedback about delayed delivery and a DPD app that told me the tyres had not been despatched when they had. Called up after two weeks and was told there were problems with the carrier and delivery should be the next day then got an email replying to my email enquiry 3 days previous that the tyres had been delivered 11 days ago! Crappy carrier and poor customer service.

Absolute Rubbish.

Ordered tyres 3 weeks ago and still not here.
No update on delivery. When I called had no idea when tyres might arrive.
Save yourself a lot of waiting and pratting around and give these guys a miss.
The tyres might be cheaper but you still have to fork out 60 quid to get them fitted...
Will not be using this company again.

Rubbish company , don’t waste your time buying from them

My shipment is over a week late and I have received no contact from the seller.

I placed my order on 14th June, the tyre was despatched on 16th June with an estimated delivery date of 24th. It is now the 30th June and it has not been delivered!
MotoTyres are, apparently based in Whitney, Oxon but the tyres come from Germany! This is not apparent in their advertisement!
They say they are checking on it's progress!

Date 28 June. Tyre due 22 June but still not arrived. Checking on tracking its not even in the UK yet!

This is probably the worst experience that I have ever had within an eCommerce.
I have ordered 2 tyres that were "in-stock", the money was taken from my account at the time of the order, and the delivery date was 3 days. However, on the following day, my order was delayed for some reason and it would take almost another week for one of the tyres. So I have cancelled the order of one of the products and found a local garage with the tyre in stock. The fun part starts now.
With the cancellation, I asked for a refund and I was completely ignored in all communication, at the same time, I have received another email saying that the other tyre would be even more delayed, so I decided to cancel it as well. Again, asked for a refund and I was completely ignored. To my surprise, the tyre was delivered the following day. Have in mind that from the purchase until the delivery almost 3 weeks had passed, for an "in-stock" product.
All of the sudden, they decided to reply to me in order to get the tyre back, as I had cancelled. At this point, no one confirmed ANYTHING about my refund of both orders!! Then, another surprise, I get an email saying that they will only refund both of my orders when they get the delivered tyre back... They are basically holding my money hostage... I can not believe that a company like that is allowed to trade in the UK. I'm writing a formal complaint to Ombudsman hoping to call attention to this company unethical behaviour.

**** Update 18/06 **** In fairness to Moto-Tyres, I received confirmation that the tyre will now be delivered today.

Positive points - Easy to order.
Negative points - The website stated tyres were in stock (that's why I ordered from Moto-Tyres).
I ordered a pair of tyres 3-4 weeks ahead of needing them for a holiday trip.
The front tyre arrived within a couple of days - great service.
However no sign of the rear tyre.
I sent a message via the 'contact us' link on the Moto-Tyres website and got no feedback.
I'm a day away from setting off on holiday and still no rear tyre from Moto-Tyres and to top it all I received a mail today saying the rear is "SOMEWHAT DELAYED" If they had the courtesy to let me know this a couple of weeks ago I could have made alternative arrangements.
The reason I'd ordered from Moto-Tyres was because they clearly stated tyres were available and in stock - I'm now left with a bike which has a rear tyre that doesn't have the life left in it for a 2.5-3k mile trip.
Thanks a lot MotoTyres for a poor customer service, poor customer communication.
I would advise anyone who needs tyres to be delivered within a reasonable timeframe NOT to order from Moto-Tyres

I chose moto-tyres based on cost and more importantly, availability and delivery time. The website stated 2-5 day delivery time and it was in stock.
3 days after placing the order, I received an email saying the delivery would be delayed 3 days due to 'high demand'. But after waiting 9 days for an 'in stock' tyre, I managed to telephone them and cancel the order.
I'm certain the tyre wasn't in stock and that is what caused the delay.
Instead, I contacted by telephone another online tyre shop who confirmed stock and I received the tyre 2 days later.

Avoid moto-tyres. Clearly they are unreliable and dishonest in their delivery pledges.

I should of read the real 1* reviews below not the fake 5* reviews.
Been waiting a month for my order now, phoned their customer service several times only to get through to somebody who can only read out the information that is given in emails.
Apparently my tyres have been "stuck in customs" for several weeks. But there is no tracking, no proof and no estimated delivery date.... this just screams scam!

Placed order 18th March,email indicated 2 to 5 days for delivery nothing, another email arrived saying it would be another 3 days before delivery nothing, made call told it would be another 2 days , this went on until 7th April had enough cancelled order, would not recommend

I ordered three tyres. After three weeks waiting, I lost patience. Customer services were as helpful as they could be but the impression I got was that they are as much in the dark as the customer! THEY ARE NOT a UK based company as their website would have you believe. I certainly wouldn't recommend them. Their website indicates that items are stock and available for immediate dispatch. Not the case. It is however a case of selling stock you haven't got. They also trade under another name: Tyres-outlet. Same performance. The only credit I can give them is that I was refunded relatively promptly after cancelling my orders.
