Steer well clear of this garage, booked for Mot and service, called back at few hours later with MOT Failed and quoted £660 to fix for work that did not need to be done.

Failed on Coil spring and Suspension arm, E brake not pulling enough. Advisory on rear disc, and pads.

Recovered the car and took it for second Mot at a different garage. Confirmed spring needed changing, charged £120 then car passed MOT. They also said my discs and pads are like brand new all around.

I didn't tell the second garage about the pre-test and previous failure so they would do a blind test.

Shocked by Motazone Cwmbrans approach to business. The reviews seem to show a consistent pattern of this type of daylight robbery

I needed an mot on my van which they mot’d 2 yrs prior. It failed on a steering linkage at the time and tyre. Which was done at a cost of £155. I did 2000 miles and parked it up for 18 months as it wasn’t needed. Took it for an mot last week and was quoted £720 to get it through the mot. I took it to ETB tyres Cwmbran and had the mot and all works done for £280. Very overpriced as if they are making up work to charge you for. Could be wrong but a £440 difference?????

great service failed mot i knew it would fail, work done before the end of the day at a reasonable price, and i don't lose a day off work.

I booked my car in for an mot and it failed (rightly so) and was quoted £175 for a rear drop link and a reflector for the rear bumper which included the mot price. This is a 30 minute job.

I had all work done by a reputable garage (not rip off MOT A ZONE) for a total of £85.

When i took the car back for a retest, it then had an advisory which was not on the original fail which i may add should have been.

Ive since taken my car to my usual garage (again NOT mot a zone cwmbran) and the advisory was for misted suspension oil!? Or not damping... this is false as this company will find any reason to rip you off and i have had it confirmed there is nothing wrong with my suspension and a tactic of theres to rip there customers off.

Take my advise and go elsewhere that do not rip off their customers Like MOT A ZONE.

I would like to post something positive in the negative times. My wife’s car needed an MOT having booked it in we realised that the empty fuel tank warning light was on. I rang the garage and said that we are sorry but we will need to cancel as we are isolating and do not want to go to the garage for fuel. I was told no problem we will collect the car put fuel in and carryout your MOT. What a company MOTaZONE are, customer service like you seldom experience. The car was collected a phone call to say all done £30 the MOT and £20 fuel put in. I paid over the phone and the car appeared on my drive 20min later. Obviously we were delighted and would recommend them to you all.

Excellent car repair centre. I have taken my car here approx 3 times, everytime i have had a thorough and transparent service, From customer service to the car repairs, everything has been exactly how you would want an honest repair centre to operate. Every time there was a job needed doing the customer service would call and inform me and ask me how i would like to proceed with no selling tactics, there was always quotes and time to shop around to find best prices on parts which saved me so much money. The quality of the parts has never been compromised and the jobs completed never needed repeating.
