Always have excellent service at this shop. It is such a shame it is closing down this week. Richard, the manager, is so personable and keen to assist. I hope the lovely staff all get good jobs, they deserve it!

Unfortunately this was my last visit to this shop as it's closing this week. However, they still delivered great customer service, especially Richard. Many thanks.

purchased 4 compasses for county scouting team i run. really really helpful advice. chose to purchase at millets store rather than go outdoors after very poor customer experience . my experience at go outdoors large store is so variable

Ever since we moved here in Ipswich, Millet has been one of our go to shop. Such a shame for its closure this month. My husband and I have always felt welcomed and accomodated by Richard and all the other great staff everytime we visit the shop. Another loss in our town centre.

The staff at this store ( Ipswich) are real examples of how service should be. Knowledgeable and friendly.
Plus they match online prices so you don't feel shafted.
We will miss them when they'er gone.

I am deeply upset of the decision of closing down the Millets store in Ipswich.... It shouldn't be happening.... I have will miss the best store manager Richard and other staff members. Good range of stock, helpful friendly staff who went out of their way to help us out. Have been shopping here for years and the service has always been of a high standard, so will miss this store. Always end up popping in and buying something when in town.

I'm horrified at the thought of losing Millets Ipswich, I've used it constantly for all my outdoor gear since I moved here in 2003 & will miss it hugely. Richard and all the staff at the store are always incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and it is a great shame that the company cannot just move the store to a more prominent place on the high street where it would undoubtedly get much more custom. My very best wishes to all the staff for a better future with a more appreciative employer.

Just note to thank the staff at Millets Ipswich, who have always been very helpful and have scouts discount for our son & daughter who are part of the 13th Ipswich Sea Scouts. It's sad to hear that the store is closing down & will be missed

Have been served by richard for the passed 22 years and what a brilliant person he is always has a smile and his knowledge is the best. And he bring that through his team. They are going to missed. All the best. If only go outdoors could take some knowledge from what richard does in millets it might make it a better place to shop. Will be in before you close as I will need to buy some more items as there's nowhere to go now.

The service from Richard and the choice available were excellent.
I am gutted to see this great shop closing down.... We need more choice in the town centre not less. Please reconsider.

Richard and Jason were brilliant, very helpful. We are really disappointed that Millets in Ipswich is going, a great outdoor shop in town. Not sure why after 20+ years it is going rather than moving into new premises in town, extremely disappointed. A real think is required.

So sorry that the store is closing. In the 20+ years I have been using the shop, every single member of staff has been friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. A sad loss to the town centre.

Absolutely gutted to find out you are shutting this store. It’s a little gem in the middle of the town centre and I often pop in, I can always find what I want with the help of the excellent and knowledgeable staff. Another massive blow for the town. Very unhappy customer!

Staff very welcoming and knowledgeable about the products they sell. So lovely to be able to go into a store and see the goods before buying...long may this continue.
