Meg was not only knowledgeable, she was very friendly and helpful in assisting my son in selecting the kit he needed for the Gold Dof E expedition.

She was very patient in guiding him and offering advice on the appropriate clothing.

Meg certainly displayed the values and behaviours expected of a Millets employee.

I purchased an airbed for my son to stay over and staff were more than helpful helping me to choose which airbed was best. It stayed up all night and my son was pleased with it.

Martin and Sam from the Hemel Hempstead store went out of their way to look for and find a jacket which was originally out of stock, but came in on the delivery that day. Sam came up to me with the jacket as soon as I walked in. Brilliant service and a pleasure to have such can do attitude.

I bought a Technicals Tibet 65+ rucksack from your Hemel Hempstead branch of Millets around lunchtime today, Thursday 20th April 2023, I was overwhelmed with not only the professional manner of the 3 staff I met and who helped me, they made me smile ever so much, I was buzzing on my medical treatment so I was probably quite a shock, I was made to feel ever so welcome and put at ease, we chatted about things I like to do with the outdoors being an ex British soldier, I got great advice about what I have plans for as an artist who likes to combine my artistic talents to enjoying the great outdoors, I will most definitely be coming back to the store to see Ste and Sam who dealt with me at the till, staff like them are a real asset to a company such as Millets, I will also be recommending the store to my ex military friends and civilian friends alike, I can't thank you enough, yours thankfully David Slater.

Exceptional in store service from Paul and team, very helpful, friendly and patient, all ways like to try on shoes before I buy great little shop.

Visited the Hemel branch and they had run out of the sleeping bag I wanted. Sam placed an order for me to be delivered to my home. To my delight it was delivered the next day (Saturday) so I’m delighted. Thank you!

Struggling with variations in the footwear manufacturers sizes I was in danger of setting off on holiday without a suitable pair of walking shoes.
In the Millets' store a size 10 in my chosen shoe was too big and they didn't have a 9 in stock, (no half sizes).
So ordered a size 9 on line from Blacks. When it arrived it was too small. Took the shoes back to Millets who sorted out an alternative shoe from their stock which fitted; same manufacturer, different model but all good and fit for purpose.
They also sorted out all the payment and refund issues there and then, so the following day I went on holiday with my new shoes and no lingering payment hassles.
A big thank you to Martin and his team at Millets Hemel Hempstead for the friendly service and for sorting this out so efficiently.

Sam and Joel always provide really great help. I bought a bunch of Berghaus water proofs for my team at work a few months back. Good advice on the brand and my price point. They still work great despite being worn daily.

Plus today I just needed to look after a pair of leather boots. Sam knew exactly the right product and voila I have clean soft leather boots again.
