As I’d had enough of wet socks through trainers and as walking in wellies wasn’t the most pleasurable needed some waterproof boots for walking my dog. Meg was really helpful from the start with sound advice and I got a bargain as the Merrel Accentor 3 were in the sale

We were in a rush as we had had a tent disaster with our old tent the night before. We needed a replacement quickly. The shop was opened promptly we had got there before opening time and I rushed in, whilst the assistant was busy sorting something when I explained our predicament he stopped what he was doing and he quickly took us to the tent I wanted to purchase, answered my questions and was really kind and helpful thank you.

Meg served us last year when we bought a tent and was very helpful. We popped in today and Meg served us again and remembered us, which was so nice. Shes a real asset to your store great service thank you.

Browsing waterproof coats - was offered extremely helpful detailed information by Steven on the test results for 'waterproof' level of particular brand items. And offered in a helpful friendly way. All staff here extremely pleasant to deal with.

Went in to look for a replacement camping chair and ended up getting that as well as a new tent and backpack, their offers were too good to pass up, and Steven blew us off our feet with his knowledge, both first-hand and learned, about the tents and which would be best for our needs, able to explain and elaborate the differences between shapes as well as help us find exactly what we were looking for. If you're unsure and considering getting some camping gear I can't recommend them enough, helpful, friendly and knowledgeable throughout.

Had an excellent visit to Millets in Hemel Hempstead, The Staff were knowledgeable, polite, and helpful. The store was well stocked and I left with a backpack I needed & additional items that were too good of a price to leave :) Great experience with both the store and its colleagues Sam & Meg.

Very good service , a young lady a called Sam helped me very helpful and not pushy.

The service was excellent. I took my 80 year old mother into the store for walking boots. We learnt a lot about the different types of walking boots. The assistant listened to our needs and helped us choose the most suitable for my mother. The assistant was very patient. Thank you. I had previously bought a waterproof coat from the store and am very pleased with my purchase. Will definitely return.

Excellent service from Sammy - explained how she could order the shoes I wanted in a different size for home delivery and that I can return to the shop if not suitable. Shoes turned up the next day, Sunday!

Really helpful advice and great product knowledge

Paul was very knowledgeable and I didn't feel rushed with all our boot trying-ons (there were 3 of us). Am very happy with the service we recieved.
I will definitely return for any other products we may need in the future and recommend to other people.

Went into Millets Hemel for some equipment for my daughters dofe. Not really having any experience myself and having just a list to go by, we were assisted by Steven who was so knowledgeable and patient with us. Using his own experiences to help give us detailed information so we would be able to make informed decisions about what we would purchase.
