Very good customer service

I was needing a warm jacket before going on a holiday to Switzerland. Anya and Jack were both incredibly knowledgeable and helpful and I came away with exactly what I needed. Thank you.

Had a very helpful lady Natalie who helped me choose some boots to try, based on what I wanted. Very nice and friendly. Bought some and hope they’re good!

I visited the Bracknell store to return an online order and Jack was ever so helpful. He went the extra mile to assist me getting a refund and he is a true asset to the company!

Millets (Bracknell) is pretty much my default location for anything related to the outdoors. I have rarely not been able to get what I wanted, and I always find the staff welcoming and helpful.

I would particularly like to commend the service provided by Cody on my last visit (26th Dec 2025). He was enthusiastic, personable, attentive, and above all accomplished.

My partner described him as providing "old school customer service".

I would certainly recommend this store should you require any outdoor equipment.

I visited Millets in Bracknell on 2nd January 2026 and Jack served me, he was really friendly, helpful, polite and it was lovely to see.

Berghaus jacket. I went in between Chrstmas and New Year for a Berghaus jacket combo. I spent a while trying on various sizes and customer service person was super helpful, and helped weigh up options. Item was ordered and arrived a few days later. I have tried on and fits really well.

Jack and Meg were fantastic when I went to buy some shoes, very talkative and welcoming, definitely will come back!

Popped in today for some new waterproof walking/trekking shoes. I am a size 13 so hard to find many options (a lot of stores stop at 11 or 12) and Oliver was more than happy to help me identify my options, rather than looking at shoes I couldn't have.

Oliver also identified some products with a heavy sales discount and I was able to grab a few bargains while I was in store.

The rest of the team were all very friendly, even though it was close to closing time I felt no pressure or rush of service.

Would definitely use Millets in Bracknell again.

The very welcoming I received from Megs when I entered the store. She also recognised me as a regular customer.

Nat was very helpful in answering all my questions about backpacks, and more than happy to assist me with adjustments, which was so helpful. Oliver was so friendly and helpful at checkout too! An absolute pleasure to have visited your store today and pick up some very cheap but reliable gear!

Update: One piece of feedback I forgot to mention is that it worked out cheaper for me to buy online using the SAVE15 code. Unfortunately, the team weren’t able to price match in store. It would be great if staff were empowered to honour online promotions, as the current setup encourages customers to buy online rather than support the high street.

Natalie was very patient when I tried on billions of pairs of walking shoes. She offered advice about which shoes to get, and which ones were waterproof.

Really great prices and Jack was super friendly to my pokemon mad son!

Natalie knew what advice to give me from her own personal experiance for me to complete first time camping set up knowing i was lacking space on my motorbike advised weight tent etc

Very impressed with the lady helping me research jackets today. Natalie was very knowledgeable with respect to the Berghaus jackets I was interests in as well as other brands. I will definitely return and speak with her when I am ready to purchase in the new year.
