Millets - Aberdeen Omdömen 

Went to purchase a jacket on 8th April. Kyle and his colleague listened to my requirements and showed me various examples all of which were good. They were very knowledgeable, polite and helpful and I managed to select one to suit my needs with their expert assistance. Great customer care shown. I was very pleased with the service given and the item purchased.

Pair of boots I chose the previous day were too tight - Kyle advised I should wear them around the house to make sure they were comfortable so I would be able to bring back for a refund if not suitable.... Great advice and I returned boots next day as they didn't fit well enough. Refunded without any hassle and no pressure to choose a replacement item.

Bought walking shoes on 3 April 2025. They were recommended by my podiatrist and had to have arch support. Ali, the manager, gave me lots of advice before I made my choice and explained the difference between the shoe fabric, waterproofing, inner and outer soles. He also gave advice re cleaning and maintenance.

I went in to purchase a coat I had seen online. I showed them a photo and they informed me it was just taken off the racks and being sent back to their warehouse. They proceeded to go through a huge mountain of coats that were nearer the back of the shop, eventually we found a size and colour of the one I liked. Leigh and Kyle went out of their way to find the one I wanted then even further to find the size I needed! This pile was never ending!
They were both pleasant, polite and very nice people, a delight to speak to. We also had a few good laughs while they looked for the coat I wanted. A credit to the company.

Amazing service

Ali was great, very helpful in getting the right product not just any product, and got me loads of discount so better price compared to online. When I was previously in last year, the assistant was equally brilliant. Really knowledgeable staff and proper customer service and you really aren’t paying any more than online but you get the customer service.

A Young lady was so helpful and showed me the best deal , so incredible polite and friendly .

He helped me find the perfect pair of walking/running shoes which I needed to support my ankles due to lower back pain. I had just come from a back clinic who advised me about this.

Been in a couple times during the most recent clearance sale, and found the deals to be very good. Staff were also very friendly, attentive, and willing to provide advice.

Fantastic service from Alex, Kiera and Cara when I went in for a new pair of shoes! Really helpful advice and I'm very happy with my purchase.

We visited the Aberdeen store to shop for a pair of shoes and a jacket. They had some fantastic sale prices which attracted us to the shop. We were greeted by Leigh and Colm, who were brilliant and knew exactly how top class customer service is delivered! Very happy with the products we bought and even more happy with the service we received.

I bought a jacket just after Christmas which was not in stock. The manager Alex organised it to be posted free of charge from their store. Unfortunately the jacket got lost in transit with Evri. I first called customer services who were a little unsure what to do as the jacket was no longer in stock. I thankfully contacted the store and spoke with Alex who was more than helpful. He could not get the jacket ordered online but managed to find it in a previous Millets store that he had worked at south of the border. He offered to personally go to the store and bring the jacket to Aberdeen. This was above and beyond anything I have ever experienced from a store manager. I can see why he has so many positive comments. I will certainly return for future outdoor clothing and supplies.

Very patient staff, they are willing to help out, give recommendations, I had Kyle help me out and I'm very happy with the service, definitely recommend this store for all hiking needs especially for scouts/cubs etc.

Alex made my experience at Millets Aberdeen smooth and easy. An employee who clearly enjoys his job and goes above and beyond for his customers - I got everything I needed all thanks to Alex’s help, without which I’d have been completely lost! He was patient and asked me the right questions to make sure I got the products for me, and was even honest about my entitled discount :) Thank you Alex, you’re awesome and I’ll definitely be back!

So bought a short jacket few wks ago,returned 13th December. One if the guys opened up the left side of door so I could get in and out with my Walker. Tried on 2 coats with lots of help from Neil. This man is full of knowledge,it was great to see he took time to tell me about my options. 110% recommenced anyone visits Aberdeen store.

I was returning some boots for exchange as they were faulty. Could not have met a more professional and helpful team, led by Ali in Aberdeen. O that rhymes! They went over and above to help and I left with the Spirit of Christmas in my heart.
