Contacted Meyers from London as were recommended by friends who bought through them. We needed a rental in Weymouth to base in whilst we searched the property market. Meyers were brilliant and flexible and found us the perfect tental.
As a owner of a rental property myself, I would want Meyers managing my property. They conducted a thorough inventory, made frequent checks on the property and we're responsive to both the renter and owner. A first class outfit. Highly recommend.

We bought a property through Meyers and also used them to let it. Amy kept in contact throughout and had tenants lined up for when the purchase went through. Everything was done professionally and courteously and I can’t fault the team at Meyers in Dorchester

If there was a sixth star I would have chosen it too. Brad was selling my house in Marnhull and did a wonderful job. At every point he went far beyond the call of duty even ensuring my removal day went smoothly as I was away. Since the sale he’s even liaised between me and the buyer over mail that was accidentally delivered. I would have no hesitation in recommending Brad to anyone as a professional and more importantly straightforward and honest estate agent and indeed person.

By the time we had found Meyers we had totally lost all faith in Estate agents. We had tried several local to us (some big names in Dorset) and we were continually let down by poor candidate checks, disorganised viewings, poor advertising and that we were certainly not receiving the service promised.
We were told to try Meyers by two friends and they did not disappoint! They had to deal with the fact we were very untrusting and disillusioned by our previous experiences with three other agents. Alex and his team were fantastic and kept us up to date every step of the way. Nothing was too much for them and they found serious buyers who were not going to mess us around again.
I have absolutely nothing but praise and gratitude for Meyers and would highly recommend them to anyone wishing to sell/buy. They will not let you down!

Attempting to purchase through Meyers was a terrible experience. This is backed up by the fact that my complaint went all the way through to the Ombudsman, with parts of my complaint upheld by the Ombudsman. Even on the issues that weren’t upheld I received very little support or understanding from Meyers. Finding out halfway through the buying process the car parking space was on a separate lease just shouldn’t have happened and would expect a decent estate agent to do cursory checks of tenure information, instead of trying to bulldoze the sale through. Certainly not moving above expectations.

The way Meyers behaved was very pushy and stressful. Sending me text messages saying “this is starting to drag” when I was trying to negotiate/fix issues. I felt constantly under pressure to concede rather than talking through things. Putting words in my solicitors’ mouth when I tried to renegotiate over a bad survey is abhorrent behaviour. Certainly not moving above expectations.

Throughout the whole complaints process the way this was handled between the Dorchester Branch and the Southbourne branch was nothing short unprofessional and wasted so much time. My initial complaint was ignored. Throughout the complaints process, there seemed to be no knowledge of how to handle things to the TPOS code of conduct and I had to point out the right way of handling my complaint! Even as this moved through the process with TPOS there was various missed deadlines from Meyers. And despite what Meyer’s was inferring, don’t pull the wool over my eyes, I know the complaints procedure wasn’t on Meyer’s website until around summer 2020 (I know how to access cached websites)!!. Certainly not moving above expectations.

What really hurts is that to date, I have not had a meaningful apology from anyone at Meyers especially from the Southbourne branch. Particularly as parts on my complaint were upheld by TPOS. With everything that went wrong and pushy treatment I received from Meyers, I do expect more than a generic letter. Certainly not moving above expectations.

Regarding the money rewarded by TPOS, It doesn’t take 4 weeks to do a bank transfer and its clear Meyers’s was doing this out of spite. If Meyers want to call themselves a first-class estate agency, then the above is not it, this is not moving above expectations.

We have received an amazing quality of service from Brad and his team. From start to finish, we were delighted with the level of professionalism, quality of photos for our listing and constant support and reassurance. We would not hesitate to recommend using them. Brilliant all round!

Meyers (Bournemouth) sold my flat in Queens Park. I'm very pleased with James who managed the preparation for sale and negotiations; and delighted with Carrie who managed the relationship with the buyer expertly through what was a bit of a rollercoaster of a process. I have already recommended them to friends (Meyers have managed to sell after an unsuccessful few months through another agent) and will continue to do so because they're fab.

I needed to sell my elderly parents property recently and Mark and his team helped me do this by assembling a team of specialists to house clear / clean etc. and then get a very good price for it. The efficiency and speed of this service helped reduce the stress on me and my parents considerably. I would highly recommend Myers Estates!
