I sought a number of quotations from other removers before the actual move and MD1 Removals were head and shoulders better than the rest both in terms of price and flexibility. Daniel and Madalina, especially, were particularly flexible on coming to agreement on the price and T&Cs for the job.

Further, Madalina was particularly flexible in accomodating provisional dates for the move and offering alternative dates all helping to alleviate the stress around moving.

On the day of the move Daniel and his team were outstanding in their professionalism and shear hard work to get the move done - certainly going above and beyond my expectations - thanks to all.

Nothing was broken in the move and how they managed to get the wardrobes up two flights of stairs simply amazed me.

I would recommend MD1 Removals to anybody who wants to deal with a firm who truly want to work with their clients to reduce their stress and achieve a successful move.

From the first point of contact with Madalina right through to delivering our belongings safely to our new home many miles away we couldn’t fault the team at MD1. Given that we requested a quote for our imminent relocation from Hertfordshire to Edinburgh (a distance of some 370 miles) this was always going to be a very tough assignment! However, despite the fact that our belongings included a new motor scooter and a valuable piano, MD1 didn’t disappoint. They were all polite, careful with all our possessions and nothing seemed to be too much trouble. Not only were they incredibly hard working but also sensitive to our requests and our needs. To top it all, the price paid for this service was extremely competitive representing excellent value for money. In short, MD1 Removals ‘did us proud’ - they come highly recommended.

An a amazing service from start to finish. Madalina was always really quick to answer any questions I had. On the moving day, nothing was too much for the team. They checked in with us if something wasn’t clear and always took the time to make sure that everything was in the right place in our new house. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend them to everyone I know!

Seriously one of the best, if not the best removal company you can have. Madalina was most helpful throughout the process and she and her team went well above and beyond at a time I was fairly stressed! I usually do not write reviews, but I had to as I could not fault them. High standards at a very competitive price. I will only resort to them when I next move.

Moved from Leighton Buzzard to Portishead,Bristol - paid for packaging service so they came a few days earlier to pack everything, didn't take them long at all. The movers on the day dismantled/reassembled a huge wardrobe and 4 poster bed, the pieces just fitted in the lift at our new place, which was on 7th floor. Was a long day for the movers as we started at 8am and finished around 6.30pm but they were friendly throughout and we're pretty focused on finishing. I was also moving stuff into storage and realised that it wasn't 24 hour access only an hour before it shut for the night so the movers quickly stopped what they were doing and rushed to storage. Everything got sorted with very little stress so it was a great friendly service.

Smooth process from assessing what arrangements were required through to moving in.

The team were excellent on the day made sure that every aspect of the move was taken care of. Protective sheets/carpets were used to ensure wooden floors were kept safe whilst carrying some heavy items. The team were more than happy to make sure items were placed in the appropriate room etc.

Madalina and her team were amazing throughout the whole process. The guys took great care with our belongings and everything arrived in perfect condition, without a scratch anywhere. They also placed everything exactly where we wanted it. I highly recommend this company.

We moved house on Friday, and could not have done it without the help of the incredible MD1 Removals team. Madalina was fantastic - She visited us at the old house and reviewed everything we needed to move over. She quoted us on the same day and explained everything really clearly (I had not moved house before so had a lot of questions!). She even dropped us off 30x Cardboard boxes to help up with the packing and stacking! On move day, Daniel and 2 other team members arrived early to begin loading the 2x vans. Nothing was too much to ask for, and they were incredibly hard working to load everything in safely. They even dismantled wardrobes for us on the day. The team then waited until we had completed on the house transaction (This happened at 5pm on Friday!) and then started to offload into our new house. They even stayed to help put up a bed and re-assemble the wardrobes too. Genuinely couldn't have asked for anything more - 10/10 company and would certainly use again when we next move.

Had the best experience with MD1Removals. We were moved from St Albans to Purley in 6 hours with total ease. So grateful for them making this so easy for us.

Absolutely fantastic from start to finish! We had never used a removals company before so were uncertain of what to expect but MD1 far exceeded expectations!

The guys were great, arrived promptly and packed up the entire house within 2 hours! Everything was done with care and attention to detail. They offloaded everything from the van within a few hours once we arrived at our new property.

I can’t recommend these guys enough - we relocated from Milton Keynes to Margate and the team were quick, professional, friendly and dealt with difficult parking situations as well as a long trip down south. Appropriately priced with all the kit you need for an easy move. 5 stars.
