We wanted a removal service that could make our move as stress free as possible and we found MD1 offered removals, dissasembly/reassembly, packing and cleaning. What we got was a service much better than we anticipated.

Firstly, it is a business ran by a couple who deal with everything from quotes, packing, moving and cleaning. They do it all themselves, so during the move they have the power to make decisions if plans slip or change. So you're never speaking to a messenger you will always be dealing with one of the bosses, who are there getting their hands stuck into the work.

We firstly had our new home deep cleaned, initally they thought it would take about 3-4hours with 2 people. I was surprised when one of the bosses turned up to clean, as I simply assumed they would outsource it to another cleaning company as other removal companies do.

It ended up taking about 7 hours (opposed to 3-4hrs) to deep the house and they enlisted help from 2 more guys who were in the area during the final couple of hours to speed things up. I was initally worried the delay would have some reprecussions but they didn't charge extra and still packed the old house after the cleaning the new one in the same day. The bathrooms, kitchens and appliances such as ovens looked almost new, they were spot less! They were actually on their hands and knees making sure all the dirt, limescale and everything was completely cleaned. This gave us so much peace of mind when we finally moved in as everything felt fresh and new. It was definitely cleaner than we would have cleaned it, and far better than we even thought possible. - They never took a break despite offering them food and drinks.

Then came the packing, right after the full day cleaning, they had 5 people packing our entire house for 2 hours straight, no breaks and the poor guys were sweating (as some had done removals elsewhere before joing us in the evening). We counted upto 80boxes all labelled - this alone would've taken us 2 months with doses of procrastination and annoyance at living with boxes. Absolutely worth it if you hate packing half as much as I do.

Then on the removal day they arrived earlier than scheduled (they also arrived early on the home clean day). Within about 3 hours and with 4 guys they had loaded 2 medium sized trucks and had dissambled all our large furniture. They had clothes boxes and stuff to hang our clothes that weren't packed in boxes. Dispite telling them to have an hours lunch they must've only had half an hour as they arrived at the new house way before us. They don't mess about and just want to crack on with the job and are very professional about it.

Unloading was also great and they re-assembled our furniture where ever we wanted and even offered to unbox stuff for us when the boss had a free hand, but as space was tight we thought we'd leave that for ourselves and unbox at our own pace as we settle into the house.

Overall, I highly recommend MD1 Removals, you will be dealing with a very lovely and hard working couple who do it all so can change plans and make decisions to suit you, and they hire hard working people who don't mess about. They just dealt with everything and the cleaning and packing really gave us a peace of mind and took a massive stress off us. The move itself didn't feel actually feel that stressful and we felt we were well looked after throughout the process.

The team were fantastic, courteous, respectful of the property (protecting our carpets, taking their shoes off etc) and incredibly thoughtful. They executed the full packing of our house and next removal very quickly and efficiently. When we arrived at the new property they were considerate about where to leave our belongings and managed to make it look homely. Last but not least, everything was packed safely and logically and nothing was damaged. We can’t recommend highly enough.

MD1 Removals are a very professional, competent and incredibly hard-working team that truly took the stress out of moving. And all this, at one of the lowest prices that I have been quoted, so definitely great value for money. We asked MD1 Removals to also do the packing for us which was done impeccably and in a very organised way. And if this wasn't enough, when the day after I realised that the washing machine wasn't working, so there may have been an issue with the reconnection, they came back to fix the problem, I honestly don't know how many removal companies would have done this. These guys were great. From the offset everything was so easy. Madalina gave a good first impression, within a couple of mins of emailing I was showing her round my house on WhatsApp and she came back quickly with a very competitive quote. No waiting a few days to book in a teams video appointment like others wanted. The guys on the day were great too - plenty of protective sheets to lay down in our brand new home, and they protected items very well. Would thoroughly recommend. Thanks guys

I'm glad that i can helping more people with my experience having with this removal company. On Wednesday morning they arrived 15 minutes earlier that they supposed to come. they knock on my door and ask if they can come inside and have a look before starting the job. they saw what need to be done and before starting they put on the floor some "blanket" so they will not make any dust in the house. I was surprised how fast the process the stuff out and delivered to the new address. they was very kind with me even when i wasn't sure were to put my stuff in the house.

Caution during quoting - the quote provided is only for the specific itinerary items you state. You need to list all items otherwise on the move day they will call you up and ask for more money ! Which obviously leaves you with no other options. My price increased by 10% for 2 small additional furniture items. The actual team (2 guys) doing the move were professional and I had no complaints. So just ensure you detail every single item you want moving for your quote. !!

MD Removals are a most professional company. Each person in the team is experienced. They moved us from Milton Keynes to Dorset so had a long day and nothing was too much trouble. They are all very careful, the packing and wrapping was done with care both of small items such as china as well as large furniture. When we unpacked they patiently repositioned furniture. We thoroughly recommend Daniel and his team.

We have moved 9 times with good companies but never have we seen better than this time with MD1-. Daniel , Madalina and their team were the most dedicated, reliable and careful individuals ever - 4 vans and 0 breakages, 22 plant& tree pots, some weighing 200 kg, and they laboured with enthusiasm and care throughout including positioning these to our likings. Reassembling furniture up till 8 pm and then driving back to Luton for another 4 hours.. Hope to move again one day to experience them once more😂😂💪Thank you!

What a great experience using MD1 Removals. We had a bit of a nightmare chain which added a lot of stress to the completion date, however MD1 made the whole experience a lot less stressful, going above and beyond the day before moving date to the moving date itself. From the helpfulness of Madalina, who also delivered us some boxes, to Daniel and the team who worked diligently and with the upmost care. Thank you very much, would 100% recommend!

Great communication from the beginning. Madalina was very responsive and explained everything really well. The guys took good care of our staff, bubble wrapped tv and glass cabinets, safety wrapped the fridge freezer, had carpet protector. They were also helping to pack the last few bits. Couldn't fault the service we received from MD1.
We had a video call to run through the items to be moved (this was really easy and they actually offered a second one due to our cirucmstances and itinerary changing which was very much appreciated).
They then dropped over 20 large packing boxes for us that were complimentary.
On the day itself the guys showed up right on time, and worked tirelessly but carefully to make sure everything was packed and protected in no time at all. The unpacking at the other end was just as smooth and there wasn't a single piece of damage or breakage from the entire move.
The price we were quoted was great and worth every penny, and I would recommend to anyone looking for a house move.
