Abysmal. Glasgow Shawlands branch gave me a pre auction quote as I had requested. I bought the item, and requested Mail Boxes to collect as per the instructions they had given me at the time of the quote. Nothing. I chased them up, to be told that they hadn't received my instructions (?) but all okay they would now get it collected. Nothing. Contacted the auction house who told me MBE had been a day late collecting given having had a puncture, didn't collect my item due to the weight but said they would return with a more suitable vehicle. I contacted MBE who said that, due to the weight, they wouldn't now be able to handle the collection and delivery, different to what they had told the auction house. I asked why they hadn't told me, and had told the auction house a different story. MBE haven't replied to me (again). You are supposed to be professional couriers, when you give a quote you should know what you are doing, and if you screw up it should be down to you to correct things. I buy from all over the world, I've never had a courier renege on a pre auction quote let alone fail to let me know. This has left me high and dry, I wouldn't have bid and won the lot if I had known MBE would simply ignore me.

Raf and his colleagues in the Cambridge office in King Street expertly packaged an antique wooden chair for us that we wanted to send to Italy and organised its shipment by road with TNT. The chair arrived safe and sound without any problems or delays from Customs in just one week, (which is less than a letter often takes to arrive!). Well done, Raf - we can certainly recommend your services and shall use them again !

Do not use
Incompetent and useless service. They quoted and collected from auction very promptly and three weeks on, still no delivery. A week after accepting the quote, I sent a follow up email to find out if they had actually collected the items and when to expect them. An email came back saying they were being processed. 4 days later a request for payment, which was paid the next working day. No further communication from them - this was 11 days ago. I asked for a phone call from the owner of this franchise, Sandra, nothing. I rang head office a week ago - they said they would call back, they haven’t. To be fair, other branches are good, it’s just this one. But I still have not received my stuff and now all has gone quiet.
