Visited showroom in Marsh Barton and was given great advice by James. Great choices of vinyl! Chose a beautiful design. The plan and a good price was sorted out very promptly and efficiently. The fitting was arranged within 10 days. Which we were very happy about!
The fitter Kevin was on time and did an amazing job! Very pleasant manor. Such a great firm deal with. Planning on buying again! A big thank you! Tanya.

The showroom was great, I was given clear advice about how it all worked, options on where I could save a bit of money, and options on where to get a bit of quality where it was worthwhile. Zero pressure.
The fitting was only just over a week later (for a whole house), with a couple of really good blokes that did a lovely job on the fit. I was asked all along the way about how I wanted any individual unusual bits done. There was a very difficult 180 degree staircase that is a particularly stunning fit.

Visited the Marsh Barton showroom planning to buy a couple of decent off-cuts to tide us over whilst we await some building work in 6-12m time.
On explaining our circumstances, we then had some really helpful advice from Lee, who told us the better option would probably be a new, cheap carpet, where the price would include fitting and delivery. He did the maths on the 2 choices and literally saved us hundreds of pounds and all fitted within 9 days. Have used before and will definitely return again. Thanks for the great service!

Excellent, professional service from choosing my carpet (Hall, Lounge and bedroom) at Market Street shop to it’s fitting on 14th September.

I'm very disappointed in the service I've received. Getting carpets down in my new property was the last step before I moved in. I had the fitter arrive to fit the bedroom, lounge and hallway carpet. He managed to fit the bedroom and lounge perfectly without a hitch. Then came the hallway, he cut the carpet wrong which he was most frustrated about, so he had to order another piece. The specific carpet wasn’t in stock for an extra 2 weeks. He then suggested either leaving the hallway bare or laying it with a temporary join until the new piece arrives. I asked for him to put a join in the carpet as I was moving in and couldn’t really have rods exposed whilst living there. As he was joining the hallway carpet, he caught the living room carpet with his iron and melted the carpet. I've had to wait an extra month to have 2 out of 3 carpets refitted. I’ve moved in now so all the furniture had to be moved. Taking 2 days off work has also made this carpet experience very expensive. Despite all this I've still been required to pay full price. I did e-mail before reviewing the service to see if we could come to a resolution but it was just met with apathy (not even an apology). I definitely can't recommend a service like this.

Got hall, stairs and landing flooring done today .Absolutely love it ,from start to finish the guys from Dean , Scott and the fitters have been brilliant . I had to get the council to remove and replace my stair lift before and after the fitters had done the job and they worked around the time and date they could do it . Again thanks guy's from a very happy customer

Not long back from the Marsh Barton shop. Wow. Was so impressed with the staff. They greeted us as we went in and we asked to look at the rugs. We were pointed in the right direction(s) and it was nice to be able to look at them without anyone hovering. I went with my mum who also wanted to check out carpets but probably would normally shop local to Crediton. But she was very impressed with the amount of stock and went home with a few samples to look out. The chap, (Craig, on my invoice) was very helpful and knowledgeable. He checked the stock of rugs in two other shops in case it could be delivered locally, but in my case it had to be ordered. That was fine. The knowledge provided by Craig was great. He was friendly but no hard sell like I said. He gave us advice on felt backing (not getting ruckled as previous carpets have this particular room) and telling us is was probably the computer chair which is the likely problem. And of course it is! We had never thought that before! He also told us wool sometimes is not as easy to clean in a heavy traffic area which this is as modern ones and explained the cut/off-cut/waste etc. regarding our measurements. All in all a fantastic experience. My parents, I am sure will be back. Good, nice, light space to check out the carpets too I think.

Incredible quality carpets and friendly workers. During the move, my wife and I decided to buy one carpet here. But the choice was so amazing and the quality surprised pleasantly that we bought a carpet in each room:) Several years have passed, and the carpets look like on the day of purchase. Awesome!

I have never had a new carpet, we don't have carpets, so I was very pleasantly suprised that from when we first went to the Exeter, Marsh Barton store, chatted with the staff, choosing a carpet, arranging a measuring and have the carpet fitted and completed all within one week; Absolutely amazing service.
Great communication from their staff, the fitter did a fantastic job on our very uneven cottage stairs, landing and bedroom floors, please pass on our thanks to him.

In two days 24th & 25th january two of your fitters Steve & lewis carpeted our house,they were both friendly and efficient,we were extremely pleased with them and their work Big slap on the back from us.Keep up the good work.........

Messed around with fitting day they said a different day to what we were told. Receipt for payment and fitting day turned up after they said we got it wrong. Then had a phone call approx 15 minutes before expected time to fit to say they had received the wrong colour carpet.This was after paying for it all to be fitted etc. Totally let down from start to finish.Full refund was made after we had had enough.Never again.

Great customer service, We were outside the free delivery area by a few miles and they delivered and fitted our carpets with the free delivery.

Hi this is a great carpet shop the service we received was excellent.the sale men so helpful with us picking are front room carpet.prices very reasonable and plenty of choice .fab fitting service as well .

I always use Market carpets , helpful ,friendly and always a great service once had a carpet with a flaw in it, phoned them up they checked carpet from stock and sorted it the very same day with a more expensive carpet and a big apology . Wouldn't use anyone else

The 2 operatives were very friendly, professional and did an excellent job, they had some problems with the carpet not being cut before laying which they dealt with with expertise

I walked into market carpets in marsh Barton Exeter on a Sunday morning. Had a warm greeting from Connor who guided me through all the types of carpets of of the style I wanted. He was extremely helpful and polite and I left the store feeling very happy, the quote came through and it was excellent , very competitive! Connor maintained contact the whole time and ensured they could supply within an appropriate time, Chris and Steve where the fitters that did an excellent job in excellent time! Again always communicated well and felt very satisfied with there work. A definite recommendation from me. Well done lads!
