We couldn’t be happier with our experience with Cosy Carpets from start to finish, including after sales.

It’s honestly so hard to find a trustworthy company these days, especially when it’s your first home and you want everything to be just right. We spent around three and a half weeks choosing our stair runner because we wanted every detail to be perfect. Among so many options, Mark was an absolute star. From our very first visit, he was incredibly understanding, patient and generous with his time. He shared so many ideas and helpful tips, even pointing out things we hadn’t considered, such as the importance of choosing the right underlay. He even came for a second home visit to help us to narrow down options and to make sure we felt completely comfortable with our decision. After meeting him, choosing Cosy Carpets was a no-brainer.

Having had a very poor experience with another flooring company in Norwich beforehand, I genuinely felt blessed to have found Cosy Carpets. Richard, our fitter, was fantastic. He is clearly highly skilled, professional and takes real pride in his work. Even with our challenging stair nose, he executed everything brilliantly and paid great attention to every detail. The workmanship is exceptional, and the finished result has completely transformed our hallway.

We chose a flat weave carpet with 9mm underlay and black border, and it feels incredible underfoot. I genuinely find myself wanting to walk up and down the stairs just because it feels so lovely!

The whole experience, from the initial consultation through to the fitting was seamless. The communication, customer service and craftsmanship were outstanding throughout. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Mark, Richard and the entire Cosy Carpets team to anyone looking for beautiful flooring and a company they can genuinely trust.

We visited several retailers and decided that not only on price and quality that the Team @ Cosy Carpets North Walsham offered the best all round experience. We had the whole upstairs carpeted and the lounge dinning room kitchen done in LVT and to say we were so pleased with results is an understatement it is superb. I visited Cosy Carpets to choose flooring for my conservatory. Colin was very helpful and informative as we discussed different types of flooring and what would be best suited for the space. The other staff members were equally as attentive, and the fitters did an immaculate job. Highly recommend.

Cosy carpets have a very wide range of flooring to choose from, and the fitters are very friendly and obliging, very pleased.

All in all our experience with Cosy Carpets was a good one. We took samples home, made our choice & ordered for three rooms with Lauren.
Jason then measured the rooms, small discrepancy as hallway measurement was too small, my partner had made measurements himself just in case. We phoned Cosy Carpets, Jason had realised his mistake & so it was soon amended.
We would especially like to say a Big Thank you to Tom Catchpole for his care & attention to detail in laying our underlay & carpet. It looks great. You did a good job, very pleased.

I used the Thetford branch to buy a carpet for my bedroom.
I called the store to book a measure and was given a Sunday! I have never known a service being provided on a Sunday before!
When the guy arrived, he measured and then gave me a choice from the many suitable carpet samples he had in his van. A quote was provided in the next day or so.
From measure to fitting, it only took a matter of days!
I highly recommend Cosy Carpets for your flooring!

Good, welcoming and helpful reception on our first visit to Cosy Carpets Thetford. Helped us choose the right carpet for our room. Very small issue on order delivery. However Manager and staff with no fuss soon resolved this for us. We are extremely happy with our choice. Fitters turned up on time, were polite. Carpet fitted perfect with lovely finish, so we are happy. My wife and I would highly recommend this company.

Highly recommend. A great service from start to finish. Lauren was really helpful in choosing the carpet, Jason was also really helpful and had some good suggestions when measuring up. Tom and Alex were very professional when they fitted the carpet. We had several rooms carpeted and fitting was completed the same day. Really pleased with the results and happy with the price and quality of the carpet and underlay.
We have just been back to Cosy Carpets today (10th May) and Jason has been really helpful in sorting out some mats for us, out of the carpet offcuts.

I am DISGUSTED in Cosy Carpets North Walsham, (formerly Kerry’s Flooring). Last April 2025 we were forced to replace our 16 year old stair/landing carpets following building alterations. We took a sample in to the North Walsham branch and asked for a suitable replacement. We were advised on a suitable “heavy duty traffic/ commercial carpet” supposedly a carpet of equal durability.

After a few weeks we started to notice lots of loose fibres. The rep came to see it and said it was normal and would stop after a few months (LIE).

The carpet continued to lose fibres, then at the beginning of 2026 we found holes in the stair risers!
We complained, saying the carpet is not fit for purpose. Cosy Carpets sent an inspector to look at it.

The inspector’s report says there is nothing wrong we the carpet! Apparently the fault is ours FOR WALKING ON IT!

I complained again to Cosy Carpets, who have basically refused to discuss the issue stating the inspector’s report is clear. Whilst the store does not make the carpet (Furlong Carpets) they are standing with the manufacturer and are refusing to deal with the obvious issue which clearly contradicts the inspector’s report. I also add that the company that carried out the inspection have a reputation for backing manufacturers inspite of contradictory evidence (Their Trustpilot score is just 1.2 out of 5) with many customers stating the same thing.

Needless to say we have involved Trading Standards!

How can they say it is a comparable replacement when it has holed in less than a year when the one it replace never holed or lost fibres in more than 16 years of use?! The ONLY reason we replaced it was because the new floor layout had changed.

I would strongly suggest you go elsewhere for a your carpet needs as Cosy Carpets Ltd clearly are not interested in obvious carpet faults!

The following photos show the continuous fibre loss and the holes. You can also see other carpet tufts clearly starting to work their way out of the pile! The last two photos were taken just days ago, showing the continuous fibre losses!

Update:
On visiting the shop today 18th May the staff member was openly hostile and refused to provide us with a legal receipt for the work they carried out in a vane attempt to stop us pursuing the matter with Trading Standards. The staff member told me to my face that she could provide the receipt but she refused because of the review I left.

Her comment was that the company stands by the report that the carpet is fit for purpose. I pointed out again that the carpet taken out had survived over 16 years where as their replacement had failed in a matter of months. And this was sold as a stair carpet.

Given their animosity at an accurate review, I would certainly not recommend them again. I strongly suggest you go elsewhere for your carpets
