Despite what is said about plastic…
Despite what is said about plastic containers, being environmentally friendly and cost sensitive...I find the plastic jar overall disappointing.
I would much rather have the option of paying extra for a glass jar. It will prevent me from buying off Manuka Doctor a second time. I went away from Manukapharm for exactly the same reason. I don't want my extortionatally priced Honey, on face value, arriving in a plastic pot. My search will continue.
Update: If you take time to research online, glass jar Manuka Honey appears readily available. Seems the UK consumer does have a choice of container after all.

Genuine Manuka Honey only comes from New Zealand. Only honey harvested, tested, and packed in New Zealand is allowed to carry the official New Zealand MPI certification – the only official standard for genuine Manuka honey.
Our Manuka Honey jars are made from a type of plastic called PET. This stands for Polyethylene Terephthalate which is the most widely recycled type of plastic in the world and accepted by local authorities and councils to be recycled as household waste.
All genuine Manuka producers typically use the BPA-free rPET jars made from recycled plastic, which are filled and sealed directly in New Zealand – lightweight, shatterproof, and recyclable. This ensures the honey remains as the bees created it: pure, safe, and authentic.
Because Manuka Honey comes from New Zealand and is shipped halfway around the world, glass containers are neither sustainable nor sensible – the added weight increases emissions and the risk of breakage.

Ordered online, great site, product range and delivery.
Likely will reorder as and when supplies need restocking. Deducting a star only because delivery charge wasn't clear and fluctuated as per order value, I'm sure it said free delivery when over a certain amount, so I built my order to that value but still got charged something for delivery.

Bought some manuka hand and nail cream. Love this makes your hands loverly and soft and the smell wow powerful. My son opened it first and said that cream smells real nice…he is 17 so win win. Would recommend and when l can afford it would love to try other products as they have a good selection to choose from.Dawn.
