I purchased a dacia from lookers Stockport on 13th July 26 and was told there was no one in from admin to complete the warranty paperwork. I was told I could pick it up from them the next Monday. I arrived at lookers Stockport on the Monday and was told they hadn't been sorted as they didn't have my address which is a lie because I had been there and completed all the other paperwork. They then said that once they had my address they would send the warranty paperwork to me via post. After waiting 6 days I contacted them this morning to ask if it had been sent yet and wad told they hadn't and they emailed them to me and told me they don't send them by post. So basically lied to me about the process. This imo is totally unprofessional and unacceptable. Now I have to print out my own paperwork having spent over £10000. I have had better service from back street car sales lots than this.

So, 5 weeks later BMW Stoke finally refund our deposit for a car we bought that they had already sold! Yes BMW Stoke sold a car twice! How does a main dealer do that? Well it happened because they are unorganised, unprofessional and have no moral obligations to correct their error with minimal fuss to the customer.

Be careful if you deal with Mitch, he took our deposit, then the following day told us we could not have that car, when we asked for our refund he dropped like a stone, as there is no commission in it for him he was not interested in our refund. We had to raise a formal complaint but even that was not actioned. Speaking to Sam the dealership manager a week after the formal complaint he was unaware! Absolutely pathetic. Even he did not action the refund. It was our pedantic chasing of accounts / finance dept that finally got it refunded.
Stay away from these amateurs, be very careful. They will happily take your money but drop you if there are any problems. We will never return to BMW Stoke.

Firstly I would like to give a positive review of our salesperson, he’s was polite, friendly and professional.
Unfortunately from there on in the dealership let him down…
We purchased a Mercedes GLC approved used vehicle…
We were advised the car would be 7 to 10 days maximum to get it ready it took 25days!
Whilst waiting in the showroom when collecting the vehicle I checked the DVLA app to make sure it had a current MOT as due to the time taken to get the car ready I felt dubious.
Low and behold it only had 6 days left of current MOT!!
We were advised that a member of service would contact us the very next morning to remedy the issue and we would be supplied a courtesy car for the inconvenience.
Nobody from service contacted us!!
I was flabbergasted that a Mercedes Dealership could be so lackadaisical!!!
The issue clearly to my mind, was the vehicle had not been checked over properly… its stands to reason if it had not been into the workshops for an MOT it had not been inspected mechanically or serviced either!!
Due to lack of confidence I now felt, I booked it into a local Mercedes specialist for an MOT and full service!
Unfortunately the issues do not stop there, after washing the vehicle myself it became apparent that there were swirl marks in the near side paint work!! It looked like a 6 year old had tried to mop and polish it… So I had a local valeting company come and sort it out properly, I believe it’s called paint correction….
I opened the boot, in the side rear pillar there are courtesy lights, the one on the right had side was completely missing! This car clearly had not been into the workshop for inspection! Again the local Mercedes specialist ordered and installed a new one for me…
I actually thought long and hard before posting this review, the dealer principle needs to be made aware of the dealerships failings so that matters can be improved.
As dealer principle you are in charge of all departments making sure they work together seamlessly, giving your customers the service they expect from Mercedes Benz.
There are too many vehicles coming into this country now from China, taking sales from you with there Hi-Tech well appointed vehicles. You can not afford to let your sales team down or your customers….!!
Please sort this as matter of urgency before we see Mercedes employees out of work!!

I went to lookers ford South Shields to get a different car and therefore get a valuation for a 24 plate Audi A1, which I purchased from Lookers less than 1 year ago and was flabbergasted when they said the Audi was worth £6,000 less in just 11 months. The car was used when I bought it so it was nothing to do with VAT etc in my opinion it was lookers trying to rip me off. Well I got a great deal from another company and after being a repeat customer over several years I will never go back to them. At least Mr Turpin wore a mask! (Your Ai wouldn't let me use his first name).

Work carried out seems to be ok . Unfortunately when my wife picked up her car usually the car would have had a quick wash down. This didn’t happen . The car was purchased from Ford directly also only a couple of months ago. I just had a service done on my car at Hyundai and they gave a complementary wash. I think it’s all part of the service anywhere else unfortunately not with Ford . Remember it’s the little things like this what make a difference to future custom .

Alan - with one L - was ten out of ten. We chatted over a few cars, and he knew the exact one I wanted. He worked with me to get a great price and I am now the proud owner of a fantastic A3.

When I went to pick up the car it was in absolutely perfect condition and I am buzzing with it. He went over everything with me and made sure I was 100% happy with everything.
