"I bought this Litelok x1 Mini to give me both portable and at home security. Extremely well made and with an easy to use key (other locks I have are fiddly) and a rubber coating so it doesn't damage your bike. I use this one on my Royal Enfield Hunter and it fits snugly around the front wheel. The size and weight make this lock easy to carry when I'm out and about and gives me piece of mind. Just a disc lock no longer cuts it (if you'll excuse the pun) as thieves simple cut through the brake disc. Highly recommend lock."

Bought the X1 PLUS Moto for my Vespa. It’s part of an array of security measures at home and is the one that gives me the most confidence. I bought a second Tactical Mount not to replace the first but to locate it on another bike so I can safely and securely carry my Litelok X1. Is is not like the regular D lock mounts and this is what sets it apart. Robust and somewhat chunky, this design has done everything to protect and to avoid one damaging the frame's paintwork. With the X1 firmly located in the Tactical Mount none of that irritating rattle that so characterises regular D lock mounts as one bounces ones bike around potholes. "

"Hi recently acquired a x1 mini lock it does fit on the nt1100 front wheel but as to be footed around disc and wheel spokes a bit of a tight fit but when you’ve done it a couple of times it’s not a problem and if there were to attempt to cut it off with a grinder there’s not much room to get at it and also a plus it fits in my tank bag for ease of carrying on bike"

I am very happy with my litelok x3 Moto, it is compact and easy to work with, you can put very easily on the bike or of the bike (wheel) I know maybe in your mind seems to be a bit to expensive but the peace of mind this lock offering to you is amazing, every time you lock your bike with this one you stay secure, I totally recommend it to anyone have a bike and love it. I really like the range of deterrents and the high quality security offered by Litelok. The range includes lighter more portable options for European tours as well as ‘harder’ options for when my bike is ground anchored in the garage at home. I already own the Litelok X3, which has seriously impressed me, so I had high expectations for the Litelok Mini. Happy to say it absolutely delivers. I bought the Mini specifically to secure the front wheel of my BMW R1250GS and to give me the option of threading a chain through and locking multiple bikes together. It’s the perfect size for that. Compact enough to carry easily, but still feels incredibly solid and well engineered. Build quality is excellent, just like the X3. It locks smoothly, feels tough, and gives real peace of mind when leaving the bike. What I really like is how versatile it is. On its own, it’s ideal for quick stops, but combined with a chain it becomes part of a much more serious security setup. If you already trust Litelok, this is a no-brainer addition. If you don’t, this will quickly win you over. Proper bit of kit.

I was looking for a secure u-lock for my two bikes while away from home. This one has the credentials to hopefully stop an attack by thieves. Lighter than a chain and more convenient.

Great lock and great customer service. The courier was messing me about and Litelok customer service went the extra mile and chased on my behalf to get my lock delivered before a trip. Fast response, great product and great customer service. Recommended.

A brilliant lock for the right motorcycle
The quality of the lock seems top notch. It is sturdy and having studied the reviews where experts have tried to break/remove the lock as if attempting to steal the bike, I feel certain that the opportunist thief will give up and find an easier target.
Ease of use - or rather which motorcycles will it fit. So far my X3 has been tried on 3 motorcycles:
* My 2016 H-D Road King with allow wheels - it would fit through the holes in one brake disc and around the alloy wheel but the gap in the "spokes" of the alloy are too narrow near the hub for it to pass though both discs. See 1st Video and the photos.
* A 2024 Moto Guzzi Stelvio with spoked wheels, the lock won't fit through the brake disc in any alignment that allowed it be locked, it did fit round the front tyre but this tyre has over 9,000 miles on it so I can’t say it would fit over a new tyre. See 2nd Video.
* A BMW GS 1250 where the owner reported back that he hadn't been able to get it to fit.
We can report that the X1 Moto will fit the Guzzi and the BMW going through both discs on each bike, so from this I conclude that the X3 lock body has a slightly bigger diameter than the X1. Note: The Guzzi & BMW owners are going to by X1 Motos for their bikes :-)
My advice is find mates that have an X1 or X3 and try before you buy to make sure you have the right one. I recommend getting your bike in the open as you may need to experiment with how it can fit or sometimes how it doesn’t. Or you’ll need to google and find X1/X3 users with the same bike as you.
