I AM WRITING TO SAY DO NOT SHOP WITH THIS COMPANY LIFE STRAW! I ORDERED MY ITEM OVER A MONTH AGO. STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED IT. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE PHONE NUMBER. NO ONE HAS REACHED OUT TO ME. I HAVE PUT IN MULTIPLE EMAILS WITH “customer service”REGARDING NOT RECEIVING MY ITEM, STILL NOTHING! I WANT MY MONEY BACK! DO NOT SHOP WITH LIFESTRAW BECAUSE THERE IS ZERO CUSTMER SERVICE...NONE AT ALL! THEY DO NOT CARE AT ALL ABOUT CUSTOMER SATISFACTION. IF YOU ARE THINKING ABOUT AN ORDER PLEASE THINK AGAIN AND DO NOT KEEP THIS COMPANY IN BUSINESS RIPPING OFF THEIR CUSTOMERS! ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU ARE PAYING OVER 60 DOLLARS FOR A WATWR BOTTLE! Never expected this from this company!! Totally DISAPPOINTED!!

I have ordered Three different replacement filters for my collapsible bottle. All three of them have come unsealed and dirty where someone else has returned them and they resell them. How can you trust a company that supposedly sells something to sterilize water when it comes to you unsealed and used with dirt and grime around it. Unsanitary and untrustworthy. Why don't they seal them in secure packaging or have at least a safety seal on the package so you know if it's been opened or not, it's absolutely ridiculous.

I want to warn people not to purchase anything from Life Straw (also operating as Vestergaard Frandsen. I ordered the products from Venmo on their website, received no product, no confirmation of the transaction and after 7 emails back and forth with customer service was told basically go to my bank and try to work out the transaction with them--and have a nice day. Minimally this company should try to get their technology right. I'm out $185 and now have to wrangle with the bank.

I truly doubt the product Mission, as I testede it, and found a higher PPM, after the cleaning..Makes no sense at all..!! dont get any true reply to this fact from the company..!!

Mine stopped working in few weeks, filtered approx 30 liters with it. After few use it started to taste horrible, on their website they just offer home remedies (clean with bleach...) I met several backpackers and they have very similar experiences. On the road I don't have access to freeze it or bleach it.They don't reply on mails either. Don't buy from them if you are going on a long trip.

The mouthpiece gets nasty in no time, and the replacement mouthpieces have been out of stock for years

Ich musste meinen Wasserfilter reklamieren. Es hat alles super geklappt und ich hatte innerhalb kürzester Zeit ein Ersatzprodukt. Bin sehr zufrieden :)

Excellent company, I have bought 3 of their travel taps all of which work brilliantly. I have used them on long trips through sub saharan Africa and never had any issues despite using the bottles to filter dodgy tap and river water.
IN particular, I rate this company because, when I had a problem with one of the seals, they immediately sent me a replacement with no fuss at all

My attempt to engage with LifeStraw's customer support has been thoroughly disappointing, leading me to question their commitment to customer satisfaction and product transparency. I recently sent a detailed enquiry about the LifeStraw Home Glass Pitcher, a product I was considering due to its potential in filtering out microplastics and nanoplastics from drinking water—a concern that is becoming increasingly significant in light of recent studies.

In my email, I requested specific information regarding the filtration capabilities of this pitcher, particularly its effectiveness against microplastics and nanoplastics. Understanding the percentage of microplastics it could remove and the smallest size of particles it could filter out, measured in microns, was crucial for me to make an informed decision about the safety and purity of the water my family and I consume daily.

Regrettably, my request for this essential information has been met with silence. This lack of response from LifeStraw not only impedes my ability to choose a product that meets my family's needs but also diminishes my trust in LifeStraw as a brand that values its customers and their concerns about water quality.

The decision to invest in a water filtration system is significant, driven by the need to protect the health of one's family from emerging threats like microplastics and nanoplastics. The absence of any communication from LifeStraw has therefore been not just an inconvenience, but a major deterrent from proceeding with a purchase that I initially felt positive about.

This experience has left me feeling disregarded and forced me to consider alternative solutions that may be more forthcoming with information and customer support. It's disheartening to see a company, especially one with LifeStraw's reputation for innovative water filtration technology, fail to engage with potential customers on matters of such importance.

I write this review in the hope that it will highlight the need for LifeStraw to improve its customer engagement and support channels. Future customers deserve to make informed decisions based on comprehensive and accessible product information, supported by a responsive and caring customer service team.

Um das Wasser zu filtern, muss man enorme Gewalt anwenden. Bis man einen Liter Wasser gefiltert hat, vergehen 15 min und auch länger. Das rentiert sich überhaupt nicht. Ob das Wasser wirklich ordentlich gefiltert wird kann ich schlecht beurteilen. Bräunlich (/schlammig) verfärbtes Wasser bleibt zumindest genauso bräunlich wie davor. Die Produktvideos, bei denen das Wasser schnell und locker durchfließt und bei denen das Wasser nach der Filterung sauber und klar aussieht, entsprechen nicht der Realität.

Ordered a replacement Lifestraw on the official website with express delivery, because I was leaving for a trip. Not only did they miss the promised delivery date, they actually never confirmed the shipment of my product and it was never delivered. I have contacted them many times through e-mail and through the contact form on their website, but never got a response. After months I contacted my bank and they issued a refund, to which Lifestraw responded by charging my credit card again. Luckily my bank reissued a refund, because they couldn't show a proof of shipment - probably because they never shipped.

It baffles me that a brand like this fails to deliver goods and doesn't respond to any messages, but then suddenly reacts when a refund is issued. I am very disappointed.

Bought several products but they were never delivered. Customer service is not even replying… would not recommend!

Big bummer because their products are nice and well made. BUT(T): No spare parts. Poor customer service.

I spent the best part of $60 on a pitcher filter. Made a mistake with the filter and let it dry. Now it's ruined and I can’t get a spare filter. What kind of a company is this? They don’t give a toot about their customers.

Their automated email response states that it can take them up to 96 hours to respond to you. Had a package sent to the wrong address and contacted them less than 10 minutes of the order being placed. Finally got a response the next day, and of course, the order has been processed. I get it, but here’s the kicker. Not only can they NOT cancel the order, the also cannot refund you, send you out one to your actual home address, or do anything to help you other than say sorry that it wasn’t the result that I wanted to hear. No recourse, nothing they can do to try to make things right, no assistance whatsoever. I have been a customer for years but I always purchased from Amazon. Needless to say, I should have just waited for Amazon to replenish their stock. Never buying directly from them again.

I really do not like this company. Their customer service in Europe is very bad. They ship packages from the Netherlands and if a customer wishes to return an item, even if they are in another country, they have to pay for the return themselves. Lifestraw customer service is does not care about customers. They only reply once to email inquiries and then they ignore the customer. They do not put any telephone number on their web site so there is no one to call. I returned the glass home pitcher because it does not filter out calcium oxide / limestone (Kalk) which is a big problem in Germany and many other European countries with old buildings and old pipes. I could not find any information about calcium oxide / limestone on the Lifestraw web site and only heard from their customer service a day after the product arrived. I will never buy anything from this company again.

Cap gets stuck sometimes, I had to drill a hole in it, to put in a screwdriver as an improvised handle it because the shape of the cap hurts my hand at the force required.

Body felt a little bit softer initially than my previous bottle but it's not too soft in any way. The visual design is great.

Seems to improve the water quality taste, but how much this is a feeling rather than truth, I don't know.

Overall, as a mainly day to day water botttle not subject to heavy filtering it is doing way better than I initially thought and I like it.

I bought a Lifestraw Go for a trip to Africa. It was really difficult to suck through the water so that I didn't have the energy to drink enough in a hot jungle. It got more and more difficult until it stopped working altogether and now I can't get anything through it. I've cleaned it and looked after it in all the recommended ways but it won't work and I'm not being offered a refund or replacement because it's no longer within warranty. I would advise against buying one. It's heavy too.

acheté lifestraw mission+ deux gourdes+plus deux filtres supplémentaires+deux filtres paille. utilisé maxi 200 litres pour lifestraw MISSION prévu pour 18000 litres en théorie même avec des eaux les plus sales.

je viens d'adresser des mails à la maison mère, mais pas de réponse sur le problème qui est le suivant:
l'eau filtrée à trois fois avec le système mission présente toujours un gout de "médicament". pourtant se n'est pas faute d'avoir purgé à plusieurs fois la bomde mais rien n'y fait...je précise qu'il s'agit d'une eau de ville...alors imaginons une eau terreuse!!!!

alors quand vous voulez LIFESTRAW pour vos explications, car vous pouvez tout annoncer, moi je teste et cela ne confirme pas vos dires.

il va falloir pourtant que vous réagissiez et régler ce problème, ce qui éviterais une publicité de grande ampleur.

Perfect product for camping and hiking! Got mine today and have already consumed a hole bottle (650ml) of swamp water. Water taste good after filtering. Five stars!
