Thanks to Dave and his team at the West Bromwich leisure lakes bikes store. After wasting my time at Halfords, Dave gave me great advice and demonstrated what i needed to know. He didn’t hard sell me anything, just good advice on what I needed and how I should go forward. Brilliant.

Awful after sales service
Not long after purchasing a commuter bike from the West Brom shop in November 2020 I started to encounter a persistent issue that presented safety concerns. After returning the bike to the shop on numerous occasions to resolve this issue I was informed that there was nothing wrong with the bike, nothing could be done to improve it, and that the issue was down to the rider. Not satisfied with this I took the bike to a different workshop – who resolved the issue first time by changing a couple of the components. I can only conclude that the technicians at Lake Leisure West Brom either did not have the experience or inclination to resolve the issue. In summary – if after sales service is important to you I would not recommend purchasing from this shop.

I have spoken to our West Brom store regarding this issue and I believe they have been in contact to get this resolved with you previously: after checking over the bike 3 times they've found no further faults. We're really sorry that you're unhappy with this level of service, we understand that this has been frustrating, but as discussed our qualified mechanics are happy that the fault has been found and fixed.
