Great service from the team at the London Camera Exchange in Reading. Mark guided me through the different compact camera models and his knowledge and practical experience was exceptional. I purchased the more expensive and better camera for me mainly due to the service I received from Mark.

Still waiting for delivery of item, rescheduled delivery due to dpd sending notification too late, drop of time 1.10pm to 2.10 pm , not much chance to get home in a busy weekday when email comes through at 1.40pm ??, can't leave at work address???, rescheduled for today, got email your parcel will be delivered today, then nothing,no time slot , or confirmation time , hours at work lost!. Rubbish service. To be kind.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review. We are very sorry that the courier has been unable to successfully deliver your parcel.
Having investigated the DPD tracking history, I can see that there have been at least two failed delivery attempts. It also appears that the telephone number entered on our system may be incorrect, which unfortunately may have made it more difficult for DPD to contact you regarding the delivery.
Due to the nature and value of the goods we supply, DPD require a signature upon delivery. Unfortunately, this means that they are unable to leave the parcel in a safe place, with a neighbour, or redirect it.
We completely appreciate how frustrating this situation must have been, and we sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused. We will refund your order promptly, we have sent you an email with an alternative solution.

Went into London Camera Exchange… Reading a fantastic service
Went into London Camera Exchange Reading just looking, I had been to this store before and have always had a great service, I was greeted by all 3 staff members, I am a canon man, they showed me all the canon bits there knowledge was really good, nothing was to much trouble, I did buy a canon R5mk11 i wanted one for a while and with the great service and deal they give me I was really happy, Thank you so much what a great team :)

I have used LCE for many years and always had excellent service. The staff are always friendly and helpful. The website is easy to use and highly informative. Communication is great and emails are replied to quickly. Its a first class service thats hard to beat.

Choosing a lightweight mirrorless camera
Martin at the Reading branch really helped us to choose the right camera for my daughter. She shoots her dogs for brand content and walked out with a Z5 and 28-200mm lens to get her going. Great service as always and a very happy daughter...

Your delivery policy of no secret place…
Your delivery policy of no secret place no nieghbour no depot collect is wrong I work mon thru Friday and at distance from my home. This was scheduled for tues attempted failed ( no one home) so now I have to get someone in my home to accept on Friday!! Needed for my holiday project in Spain leaving Sat morn.
Not impressed at all.

Thank you for your review. Due to the high value of some of our equipment, we have removed the 'secret place' or 'with Neighbour' feature from all accounts.
As our website states that deliveries are between Monday to Friday, and you paid via PayPal, you would've had the option to choose your work address for delivery.
Saturday deliveries are also available at an additional cost, had the branch been made aware of your delivery needs, they would have made every effort to assist you.
I hope that you choose LCE again in the future and if you have any delivery requirements, please contact one of our branches.

I purchased a used Canon lens for an excellent price - far better than I'd seen elsewhere. It was delivered the next day and looks to be in excellent condition.
