Whatever interest you might have in cameras, lenses, binoculars, telescopes or their associated accessories, we are here to help. We have a good range of astronomical telescopes in stock and also offer in-store sensor cleaning, firmware upgrades and image retrieval. We also enjoy dealing with your film camera needs, including a film processing service. With over 65 years' experience between our team of four staff, all of us have a passion for cameras, with a range of experiences of both photography and videography within them.

DSLR cameras are mystery to me, but took the plunge and bought used Canon DSLR, after good advice from LCE Portsmouth, they know what they are talking about with cameras.

I spoke to two different people on the phone. Both were friendly and very helpful. My lens arrived the next day, suitably packaged and, exactly, on time. I will, definitely, deal with LCE again.

Purchasing a monocular
I wanted a monocular to take on a cruise as I can't get on with a binocular. I was helped by a very knowledgeable young man who was very patient and listened to my requirements before offering sound advice. I made a purchase and I am very pleased.
