Ery good service and lens

The camera I purchased was excellent and was ‘as new’ as described. The delivery was very prompt as well. I am very happy with the item and the service I received from LCE. Well done and thank you.

I'd rather not describe the service as great, though there are mainly positives, only one(possibly two) negatives.

Communication with LCE, was positive, professional, honest and quick. Delivery time was excellent.

I was a little disappointed to see that the cap on the back of the lens was not properly secured. It fell off when I took the lens out the plastic bag. I'd like to think no dust got onto the back of the lens. There were one or two additional marks on the lens, where the lens hood attached, which was not mentioned, (but those light marks would have been unlikely to have changed my option to buy).

I've still to try out the lens. So I will revise this review if necessary (though I don't expect I will need to).

I was searching for a replacement second hand lens for my Nikon camera through various reputable on line stores. Comparing prices and quality I settled upon this lens from one of the London Camera Exchange's many shops aaround the country . I had been looking for a really good used Nikon Z5ii for a few months when I noticed this one and decided to purchase it. Rob was very helpful when we exchanged e mails, providing all the information I needed to verify the provenance of the camera. As expected, when it arrived and with only 100 shutter actuations the condition was mint, as new, which was exactly as described. I'm very pleased with it. I have had a number of different DSLR and Mirrorless Nikon cameras and for most purposes, apart from fast action/sport and maybe large landscape photo printing, you would not need much more capability than this full frame Z5ii.

I bought a pair of Swarovski binoculars on line and the buying process was straightforward. Due to no fault of LCE, the delivery courier could not collect them that day, which meant that I received them a day later than planned.

This wasn't a problem for me and I was impressed that a member of the Derby branch phoned me as soon as possible and explained the situation, apologising for the slight delay, although it was beyond their control.

The binoculars arrived well packaged and were exactly as described on their website. This is the first time I have bought anything from LCE and based on this experience I would definitely buy from them again.
