I ordered watering birds described as glass but are in fact cheap and nasty plastic after taking an age to arrive. My card was also debited with £3 more that then order value, although the order confirmation total was correct (it also stated 'glass' birds). I am yet to receive an explanation for this.

I have emailed Largelye to tell them the goods are not as stated and requested a refund. I also advised mis-describing goods is an offence in the UK. Their latest reply is sorry perhaps you could give them to friends as a gift!

More of the same I'm afraid. Complete con as Glass Birds are actually plastic.
I have rejected the goods but dont expect any joy so will take it up with my credit card supplier

Would give it zero rating if I could!! Purchased a shower head for £16.99 as advertised, then later checked the receipt and they had charged an extra £3.40 for VAT which was never mentioned from the get go!!! Thieves!
I received the shower head but it is of poor quality, water passes through the shower head but in a very weak manner! I requested a full refund and return label, but was told that I could only get a full refund if I posted the item back out of my own pocket which would cost 3 times what I paid for the original item! The seller offered a £3 refund which doesn't even cover the overcharge for "VAT"!!!! A further complaint then prompted another offer of a £5 refund if I kept the product, but this is not acceptable as the item is of no use to me! So I've wasted £20 either way!!! Thieves! *** STEER CLEAR OF THIS WEBSITE!!! ***

Again glass watering birds are not glass but cheap plastic so very expensive for what they are. They charged my card £8.99 more than the checkout price but when I complained they did refund it immediately, said it was an admin error. I see tho that other people have also had this problem, they probably hope you won’t notice. Expensive mistake on my part, I’ll be surprised if they actually work!

The items on sale were described as glass watering jugs but what we received were flimsy plastic. The company have not even apologised or explained what's happened. Not to be trusted at all.

The items I received were plastic and not glass. All together not fit for purpose. These were purchased as a gift for an adult not as a child's toy. Not even suitable for that.

I ordered glass bird watering globes. The items that came were cheap plastic. They arrived 4 weeks after ordering. I have messaged them and their response is that I have the item and they can’t do anything. I told them I would report them to the Trading Standards as they are false advertising. I was offered £2 compensation. I then asked to return the goods and they told me it would be very expensive and I was better to take the £2. I have given up on the argument and have now accepted the £2. I will not be buying anything from this company again. Buyers beware.

Ordered the self watering glass birds. They were not as advertised - cheap plastic and not glass, and didn't arrive in the polystyrene box as advertised as not glass. No point. V EXPENSIVE mistake on my behalf. Charged extra for shipping which I was not aware of. Took over 3 weeks to deliver and still not received second order for the sane despite being ordered same day shipped from China. Complete waste of money. Will contact them but not hoping for result. Normally I'm quite careful internet ordering but got taken in this time by the advertising. Perhaps the clue was in the name Large Lye certainly was.

For eleven days I have been arguing with this company because they keep sending me tracking info saying my parcel is in transit in the USA. I live in England, United Kingdom. They are cheats and I am liaising with paypal about them.

beware purchased showerhead of Facebook purchase price 16.99 checked account and they charged 20.39 no mention of vat added

Saw this company advertising in Instagram and saw a product I liked. It was priced in £ and I imagined it was from a UK company. Price was £15.98, paid via Paypal.
Checked my account and I had been charged £19.18.
Contacted them to cancel the order and full refund - they only refunded the £3.20 overcharge!
I contacted to remind them I wanted to cancel and full refund. I was told too late to cancel and they were despatching the goods anyway!
Dispute raised with Paypal.
