I purchased the Lanoguard `Large Kit` a while back (approx' £120). Although I have followed instructions (& videos), when using the sprayer I spend more time trying to fix and clear the nozzle (spray-nib, handle and tubing), days after purchase and to date.

I heat the container as advised, shake it well, clean the entire nozzle in hot water (like new), to get the sprayer working well with a strong mist/spray, but then for it to regularly clog up and significantly pour over my hand & wrist as I pump.

I then repeat the whole cleaning process and prep' the container again, for the problem to consistently repeat the issues.

In order to get under the car sprayed (coil springs, suspension strut, exhaust joints etc) after numerous attempts, I've to place large sheets of cardboard under the car, wear disposable gloves, wear old clothes, and be prepared for the Lanoguard to spurt and literally pour from the nozzle/handle over my hands, arms and clothing.

Despite the hose being fully secured into the nozzle, and nozzle head being thoroughly tightened, it seems I have to accept 30% squirts and occasional sprays actually reaching the under carriage, and 70% wasted = dripping and running over over my hand, arm (and driveway paving bricks, despite having sheets of cardboard on the ground). I'd say I've wasted one of the two containers from the Large set by now, over the various uses with repeat drips & pours. Certainly an expensive waste.

There's just too many complaints about the issues with the spray nozzle, which ideally would have been somehow rectified by now.

Good when it periodically sprays the strong cloud of Lanoguard mist, giving decent coverage, but VERY rarely this happens. Then it's a case of wasting more time in the day trying to clean the nozzle gun, hose etc yet again, as well as even more time re-cleaning the paving bricks.

Excellent product highly recommended, easy to use and product covers all areas,would certainly recommend using gloves and old clothes because it does smell like old sheep piss lol

Car still rusted

I bought the 2 litre bottle of Lanoguard with spray attachment. I thought it was a bit pricey but only used a quarter of it on one car so plenty left for the other car and re-coat next year. I jacked up the car and supported it on axle stands but could have done a pretty good job just reaching under. All in all a fairly easy job and only took about 40 minutes from wire brushing loose rust off to tidying up at the end.

No shipping to Poland (A Schengen, EU country btw). Will have to pickup a package when I return home to see family but not every Pole is so lucky.
Absolute shambles as Poland is a huge market for rust protection (especially Lanolin based) and since there are no other providers, Lanoguard has missed out on a huge opportunity to capitalise on a gaping hole in the market. Porażka.

My star rating is neutral at present. I chose Lanoguard after researching the product and then used one of the application centres listed through Lanoguard’s website because I wanted the treatment professionally applied, and trusted that as the best route to achieve that.
However, having had the treatment done by the application centre, concerns have developed about whether the treatment on my vehicle was completed to the intended Lanoguard specification, particularly in inaccessible box sections and cavities which an ordinary customer cannot readily inspect.
I have since been able to examine parts of the underside of the vehicle more closely and have found areas which have increased those concerns. I have therefore approached Lanoguard directly and supplied photographic and video evidence for consideration.
Lanoguard has explained that the application centres listed on its website are independent businesses and that it does not itself inspect or quality-control completed applications, although it has also told me that it carries out due diligence before listing an applicator.
The matter is now being escalated internally by Lanoguard, and I have asked for practical technical assistance in establishing whether the treatment has been carried out properly and, if necessary, how it can be brought up to the intended specification without returning to the original applicator.
I am therefore reserving final judgement at this stage. The product itself may well be excellent; I still believe it is. My present concern is about the support available to a customer who has used the professional applicator route and then develops reasonable doubts about whether the treatment has been carried out as intended.
I will update this review when Lanoguard has completed its consideration of the matter.

Amazing product easy to use. Definitely will be my go to product every year to protect my car.

Just had our Honda CR-Z professionally Lanoguard treated by Colin at Cs Paint & Body Repairs Wrexham. To say how pleased we are with the result is an uderstatement. They have done a fabulous job going well beyond our expectations. He was so helpful and so nice to deal with it was a no hassel experience and again fabulous results, can thoroughly recommend.

Lanoguard my pick up.its awesome stuff ,easy to apply and better than other stuff I've tried over the years.the underside of my pick up looks like new ...very impressed thanks

Treating underside of families old vehicles over time with Lanoguard has markedly reduced any MOT advisories in that area. Unlike other waxoil products Lanoguard seems to stand the test of time so value for money overall. Grease included in last purchase so be interested to see how that performs in a coastal environment.

I've just bought the lanoguard marine grade for my boat trailer i was unsure because I've seen good and bad reviews i only bought the small bottle as it was just a test run before I do my pickup truck all I can say is I'm definitely very pleased with the marine grade on the boat trailer and will definitely be doing the pickup truck to the negative comments they should first wire brush all rust then treat it with rust converter for a stable surface then use lanoguard you will definitely be pleased if you do this first and give it 3/4 months then top up the first coat then do it every 12 months your vehicle will last forever like my trailer has that also goes in the sea when I launch the boat

I've applied Lanoguard to a couple of vehicles. Basically I got conned into the advert of spraying and instantly it looks the rust has disappeared.

Unfortunately in my experience, the bright orange remained exactly as was. Then to my dismay, a few weeks later, the rust was still spreading and getting worse!

I've made a few comments on facebook. Yet rather than address my findings, Lanoguard has blocked me?

So, dont believe all the perfect super duper happy customers reviews. The bad ones have been removed or blocked!

I started using this product on my brand new 2021 Hilux. It is now 2026 and I would say the positives are it has definitely reduced the potential rust. You still get the odd stone chip areas which ai have a applied the heavier lanoguard grease. Also it very easy to use.
The negatives are dust definitely sticks to it but after a year you can wash it off/steam wash it off. I use a compressor and sprayer to put it on as the hand guns are not great and do block even though I watched the videos how to unblock. If I have the Hilux 10years and the rust is at a similar level I would definitely up it to 4 stars. Only time will tell. It is also a little pricey compared to similar products.

i use lanoguard every year looks like new under vehicle i have been doing this for 3 years now cannot fault it keep up the good work

From the really quick delivery time to using the product, I couldn't rate this company highly enough. I have used different forms of the Lanoguard product on my race bike, for track days and Drag Racing, and on my touring bike for extensive European tours and it has kept the chain and other moving parts lubricated and protected superbly.
