I received a birthday present, the shipment for various reasons arrived to me on May 8th and had left on April 21st. I pointed out to customer support that some products expired on May 30th and 31st, so I had one of the 3-week expiration dates.They told me their products were artisanal and preservative-free. I pointed out that other products expired at the end of July.So I'm wondering why not ship all products with similar expiration dates. I'm used to buying products with close expiration dates at discounted prices, but that's not the case here.In the end, not getting any proposal, I also pointed out to him that the card they put in the box also had an awkward grammatical error.Answer: Thank you.
There are many alternatives, and next time I'll choose one. Bye bye Läderach.

Ein Produkt von guter Qualität, sehr zu empfehlen!

Ich war mit meiner Tochter letzten Samstag beim Osterhasen suchen. Meine Erwartungen wurden übertroffen: der Laden, der Service, das Personal, das Ambiente - einfach alles strahlte für mich Freude aus. Überall ein Lächeln oder ein freundliches Wort. Die Osterhasen Suche wurde von 2 Frauen durchgeführt, die mit Herzblut, Wissen und ganz viel Schokoladenfreude uns Teilnehmern eine gute Zeit bereitet haben - auch den Kindern.

Die Geschenke waren grosszügig und wirklich diese Reise nach Bilten wert. Da ich selbst grosser Schokoladenfan bin, war ich schon in vielen anderen Fabriken - aber kaum woanders war der Spirit und die Freude so spürbar wie bei Läderach. DANKE!

Ich komme gern wieder - sehr gern.

Ich bin durch Zufall in Düsseldorf auf diese Schokolade gestoßen und bin begeistert. Die Osterhasen lachten mich durch das Schaufenster an und ich musste einfach in das Ladenlokal gehen. Dort bekam ich ein Probierstück angeboten und diese Vollmilch-Nuss hat mich umgehauen. Teuer- ja, aber diese Schokolade ist es wert. Es ist die beste Schokolade, die ich je gegessen habe. Inzwischen bestelle ich im Internet, da ich keinen Store in meiner Nähe habe.

Schokolade mit höchstem Geschmack.
Wir würden Läderach auf keinen Fall mit Bio-Schokolade oder regulärer Schokolade vergleichen. Lieber weniger kaufen, dafür aber den Geschmack genießen, so lautet unsere Devise.
Bei den Frucht oder Nuss-Sorten schmeckt man diese gut raus. Ob Orange, Erdbeere, Brombeere, Haselnuss, Mandel ...
Schöne Geschenkpackungen, die bisher auch immer sehr gut angekommen sind.
Neben der Schokolade sollte man unbedingt auch die Mousse probieren.
Team stets freundlich und gut unterstützend in der Findungsphase.

Jeder sollte sich sein eigenes Bild machen. Aber nochmal: Preis ist in der oberen Klasse, unserer Meinung nach allerdings gerechtfertigt.

Weniger ist oftmals mehr :-)

Ich war heute zum ersten Mal im Café & Frühstück bei Läderach in Bilten. Aufgrund des Namens und der Marke hatte ich ehrlich gesagt höhere Erwartungen an das Angebot und die Gesamtqualität.
Leider konnte mich das Frühstück nicht ganz überzeugen.
Positiv hervorheben möchte ich jedoch das sehr freundliche und aufmerksame Personal, das den Besuch dennoch angenehm gemacht hat.

Es ist unfassbar.
So teure Produkte und es wird teilweise billiges PALMFETT verwendet.
Das kann nicht sein und ist für mich völlig unverständlich.
Wer auf hohem Niveau mitspielen will, muss auch liefern.
Das geht gar nicht!
Beim Discounter bekomme ich auch Produkte mit günstigen Komponenten.

Fantastic service at the Regent Street store.... Misbah was great and so friendly ... and helpfully introducing me to the different versions of the nut FrischSchoggi (fresh chocolate) slabs. Her recommendation of the three nuts one with with almonds, hazelnuts and pistachios (which I would never have tried) was a knock-out! Mmmm! Thank you Misbah for taking the time to walk me through the range! 5***** service

Ich bin immer wieder gern im Läderach Store in der Münchner Innenstadt am Viktualienmarkt. Das Team ist durchweg sehr freundlich und aufmerksam, ohne aufdringlich zu sein. Die Produkte sind hochwertig und schmecken einfach großartig – und das Beste: Man darf fast immer auch etwas probieren, was die Auswahl deutlich leichter (und gefährlicher) macht. Für mich ein fester Genuss-Stopp, klare Empfehlung.

Wir waren das erste Mal in Hannover im Läderach Store und waren einfach Mega begeistert - der Store ist hell und echt groß, das Personal sticht hervor durch seine enorme Freundlichkeit und Zuvorkommenheit. Man bekommt tolle Kostproben und das mal eben zwischendurch - wir Kommen wieder !!!

Order number 16000049807 - I spent £72 on boxes of chocolates (for valentines, for my girlfriend) and they arrived today with a 3 WEEK EXPIRY date ! Wont even last until valentines ! Would never order from here, disgraceful for a 'luxury brand'. Will now have the hastle of sending it back for a refund.

The staff need sacking if they think thats acceptable to pack!

How old are they - 18 Yr old teenagers ??? Sounds like they are as clearly dont give a monkeys about customers and probably think it's funny ! What a joke !

Haben heute erneut Schokolade von dort geholt. Das Personal ist hier in Hannover extrem freundlich, hilfsbereit und stets gut gelaunt während der Beratung. Geschmacklich einfach super !!! Wir gehen hier in Hannover sehr gerne einkaufen.

***********Edit (10/01/26): I don't know if they read this review or not, but shortly after I posted it they replied to my email offering to send a new milk chocolate tablet. I've received it and this one is fine, and yes it is delicious. I appreciate the fact that they did send a new tablet. I've changed the rating from 1 to 4 stars, I don't give 5 because I still think the use of rapeseed oil and other unnecessary additives in their chocolates is unacceptable. Also I personally don't find the chocolate to be so great that it justifies the price. **************

I bought a couple of their chocolate tablets on their online shop, 1 milk chocolate bar and 1 white chocolate, as well as a small box of their famous FrischSchoggi to try. I'd never tried Laderach chocolate before. I received the order in Spain.

The white chocolate was good, nothing outstanding though. The Frischschoggi were nice, but again nothing out of the ordinary. The shocking part is the milk chocolate bar which is completely bland and flavourless, it's like you're chewing a sweet mass of flavorless cocoa butter. It was so disappointing.

I emailed them telling them about this, sent them a photo of the product, and have not received a reply.
Very disappointed, I thought I'd be blown away by this chocolate, as Swiss chocolate has always been my favourite and these are supposed to be high quality and made fresh, and considering the quality these are extremely overpriced. There has to be something wrong with this milk chocolate tablet, that's for sure. I mean, a regular Lindt milk chocolate bar is better than this!

I've also noticed they use rapeseed oil which is vile, and other additives like natural flavours, citric acid, etc in some of their chocolates which should never be used, much less by a brand that's supposed to be top quality.

I don't think I'll be wasting money in this chocolate again.

I received 500g FrischSchoggi chocolates worth £53 presented in a PLASTIC bag! Nuts were burned and didn’t seemed fresh. Chocolates has only 36% cocoa and tastes very average. It is too sweet, all bars had something added to it (like nuts, caramel etc) so it’s difficult to taste real chocolate. Feels like a rip off just because it has Swiss made stamp on it doesn’t make it valuable considering it not even organic!

The chocolates are delicious and clearly high quality. Unfortunately, the customer service did not meet the same standard.

I placed a corporate order in excess of $2,000 and was assured it would be delivered before Christmas. That commitment was not met, and the order could not be fulfilled as promised. As a result, my corporate gifting plans were significantly impacted.

If the level of customer service matched the quality of the product, this would easily be a five-star experience.

Die beste Schokolade die wir je gegessen haben super lecker und super nettes Personal in Düsseldorf uns wurde direkt Schokolade Angeboten und das nicht aufdringlich sondern ganz nett . Der Verkäufer war charmant und witzig. Wir empfehlen Himbeer Schoki. Einfach ein Traum.Es war eingepackt als hätten wir Gold erstanden . Die Tüte war schön und die Schokolade wurde auch mit einem schönem Tüchlein abgedeckt. Qualität hat eben seinen Preis

First bought my Laderach chocolates in Geneva and loved the customer service. The free tasting is obviously what makes it much better in person, but online purchase is so much more convenient!

I have always used this chocolate shop in Regent Street for years absolutely love the chocolates but last month we went in to buy some chocolates ant inside the compartment that stores all the individual ones had a blue bottle in there. I mentioned it to the staff all they did was say sorry- they have got to change the way that these chocolates are stored as I certainly won’t be going back

Order rejected. Reordered. Two orders then went through. Refused to accept returns.

I made a purchase at Läderach to be delivered to my daughter in Lisbon, Portugal. It was a gift, since this company has several gift options on its website. Sweet illusion! First, they use a delivery company called Osterreichische PostAg, whose website and services are extremely confusing for international deliveries. If the recipient is not found they dont offer a local address to pick it up. location. If you want to give someone a gift, hope there are no problems with the delivery and that the person is home when they try to deliver it. And if they can't deliver?? A lot of headaches communicating with Osterreichische PostAg and total disregard from Läderach. Disappointed with Läderach, because they make delicious chocolate, but poor choice of partners. Good luck!!! Next time, I'll choose LINDT.

Läderach initiated a new delivery of my order. This time they used FedEx services, which is completely different compared to the Austrian company they used. FedEx already informed if the delivery happens unsuccessful in finding the recipient, they will leave a local address to recipient pick up the package. Essential for delivering gifts.
