We are very happy with our Worktop, it was worth the wait. It was delivered on the date and time emailed to us. Very impressed with the installers who came to finish off our kitchen. Would highly recommend J Rotherham.

Templater came 25/1019 quick and efficient. Explained tops would be fitted 5 - 7 working days. Looking good so far and even got a an email on the 31/10/19 saying - we can confirm that your order 31086186 has now gone in to production and your new specialist worktop is almost complete' the email went on to say - ' I can confirm that a booking for your specialist worktop installation has been made on 07/11/2019'
On the 5//11/19 another email saying - 'We just wanted to remind you that your worktop installation is only 48 hours away.' This was swiftly followed by another email on the same day saying - Confirmed Installation Date: 11/11/2019 ... no explanation why change of date. Stupidly we just accepted the new date even though we were very disappointed. Our plumber and electrician [connections to sink and gas hob also electrician to connect the electric feed to ignite gas] had to be rearranged.
On the 9/11/19 we received another email confirming 48 hours to go and installation 11/11/19. However, on the 11th no phone call from Rotherham's and no one had showed up by 14:00 hrs. So rang Mark Kerr at Wren [our case handler]... he passed the buck and said ring John McGrath Wren Manager - he was unavailable but his receptionist said he would get back to me ... that did not happen! Next we rang complaints and they said they would investigate and get back .... that did not happen! So in desperation sent an email to MD of Wren [M Pullan] who assigned B Roberts who assigned a case worker who said would investigate and get back to me. This she did and said we have a new date the 18/11/19. Again we had to cancel our trades - you can imagine their reaction. At this news we were now feeling very uneasy about the 18th. We had good reason to as we received a voice message from Rotherhams [Ms Page] who informed us, very apologetically, that the 18th was also cancelled due to 'material shortage' !!!!! How can this be when they actually said on the 31/10/19 our order had gone into production? This is so ridiculous and a complete fabrication of the truth. Do not deal with Wren Kitchen's or Rotherhams - they just want your hard earned cash and once they've got it you just swing for everything else. TOTALLY disgusted.

Spoke with John Rutter, who could not have been more helpful. He described the process of the templater will carry out the necessary boxing around the pipework below my newly installed boiler, and confirmed this is all part of the templating service at no extra charge. Put my mind at rest. Looking forward to receiving my new worktop and splashback and the rest of my experience working with Rotherhams.

Service was good, they were on point with communication and guidance leading to booking the templating visit, arrived on time fitters were great, efficient and polite and professional.
All in all a good service and product is beautiful and well cut

Very unhelpful when booking a time to have worktop fitted. Asked for afternoon but was sent a text saying it would be between 8am and10am. When I phoned to query this I was told I had to be available all day. Tried to change the day as both myself and my husband work and was told we’d be charged £100!!! The fitters did not arrive until the afternoon. My husband lost a days wage due to the incompetence of this company. Would never have any dealings with them again

Good job by templater and fitters but planning department too intense. Life doesn’t revolve around J Rotherham, planning dept forget how to treat their customers, they have not respect for them.

Excellent communication. Was quoted fitting from template to install to be 10days, I was worried that with Christmas coming up we’d have to wait much longer but it was 13 days, so more than happy with that. The guys who fitted the worktops were pleasant and did a very good job. I’m very happy with the customer service, communication and the quartz worktop. One very happy customer. Thank you

They arrived when arranged. Even though i was away on holiday, they liaised with my kitchen fitter and carried out an accurate survey. The work top was delivered and installed 2 weeks later by a very professional team, who were polite, clean and carried out the install to a very high standard.

I couldn't be happier with my worktop, fantastic service throughout.

Fitting & quartz worktop ok, delivery time longer than I was quoted by Wrens

continuation of my earlier review from 22/10/19.

Fitters arrived on 31/10/19 fitted the worktops, about to fit the upstands and windowsill when it was noticed that they were not the same colour match so had to leave them off, they took a piece of our worktop with them as a template so they could produce the correct match for the Upstands and windowsills.
Was informed by J. Rotherham they were in production and booked in for fitting on 09/11/19 (Saturday) I received no pre messages as per normal stating 2 days to delivery/fitting neither the normal 24hrs to go.
I therefore rang them up and was informed that they had still not been manufactured so fitters will not be arriving, if I had not telephoned I would have been unaware of the situation.

I was given a new date of 14/11/19 for delivery/fitting had no more contact from J.Rotherham so I telephoned them on 13/11/19 and they stated the fitters would be there 0n 14/11/19 between 8am and 9am also received a text on 13/11/19 at 16:25 stating the fitters would arrive between 8am-9am on 14/11/19. No fitters at arrived by 09:25 on 14/11/19 so I telephoned J. Rotherham and was told that when the fitters turned up the replacement Upstands and windowsill were still not the right match for the existing worktops we have had installed although they had the template to go by.
I have no new date yet will update progress in due course.
My advice from my experience is steer clear from this company.
I have been in contact with Wren regarding this issue however their response was totally negative.

Friday the 8th of November received a call to say my worktops was lost in the warehouse and they was trying to find them and I would be called later that day to rearrange a time for them to be fitted later that day! After hearing nothing for two hours had to ring them back to hear my order had been cancelled!! Only for two hours later be told they would be fitted at 2 o clock that day! But without the splash backs! A week later still no contact over a date to have the splash backs fitted!!!!

This company is an absolute joke. They are installing my quartz worktop for my kitchen which was from Wren. First template was on 11th October. Got an installation date of 28th Oct with a slot of 8-11. Get a call at 9.30 that installation cannot take place due to quality issues and a date will be given by evening. Since I was getting splash back done as well so had to change the template appointment for that as it can be only done after worktop is complete. No call, after waiting for couple of days and multiple calls , managed to speak to someone who then gave installation date of 11th Nov. Installers arrived on 11th , managed to install the worktop on one side but could not do the island due to incorrect size. Splashback template appointment scheduled on 15th Nov but not going ahead as had email from the Wren team ( as I had complained to them about the service from Rotherham) saying that due to certain reasons the Splashback appointment is moved to 19th Dec. No official communication from Rotherham as yet about the cancellation of the template appointment. If I wouldn't have had the intimation from wren, I would still be thinking now that the template appointment is on 15th Nov, Absolutely inconsiderate. At this rate don't know when the kitchen will be actually finished. If there was an option of 0 stars I probably would have given that. Its such a shame that their end product is good but customer service is an absolute disaster.

I ordered the worktop cleaner and received it the next day,what could be better !!!!

Just called to sort out a little mark on our worktop. John Rutter was a pleasure to talk to and talked me through what would be done in a professional manner. Couldn't ask for any more. Fully recommend this company. Many thanks.

After a really bad start regarding worktops. Asked J.Rotherham if 1 person could deal with me. In stepped Paige Kirby and from then everything went like clockwork. Fantastic result really pleased.

I had the most amazing service from Katarina Markoy-Fletcher. Was let down by Wren around an installation and she did everything in her power to fix it even though it was not her responsibility. I have been completely let down by Wren but Katatina saved the day in my opinion.

Worktops fitted today by Chris & Jack polite young men and did a brilliant job, clean and tidy has they went along, can’t thank them enough. Explained how to keep them to there best. They look fantastic very posh Looking forward to getting the kitchen fitter back now too finish off

Our kitchen was delivered around 5 weeks ago without the worktops at the time. Kept getting texts that the surveyor will arrive which he did only to tell us that our island sink had to be changed - so we had to buy a whole new sink to fit in the worktop island (1) - Wren had said the sink we originally chose was fine (clearly leading us on as long as they get their money right?). Next our worktops arrive finally (about 2 weeks late) and it gets fitted in to the main units and island, however we had ordered quartz for our walls so that it could all look cohesive and stylish the surveyor said we had to take off our fitted ventilator (which our builder had done), the surveyor comes back writes different measurements on the wall explaining we need to make the hole bigger on the wall - the quartz hasn't still yet arrived (2). They said they would text me about 2 weeks ago for the guy to fit it in - they did not (3). I have called, emailed, texted done everything in my power but it is ridiculous how crap the service really is, I don't understand why they even bother having a number. On top of all this they won't fit in the sink on the worktop which is their job telling us that the builders do it - they don't fit in the sink! Honestly DO NOT BOTHER WITH WREN - HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE AND DON'T EVEN LOOK AT J ROTHERHAM. If you want to lose your hard earned money to these ignorant fools go for it but I will recommend them as the dirt bags they are.
If they do not fix these issues by the end of this week, I will make a formal complaint as this is against the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
