Very pleasant friendly helpful and informative staff at check in point on my arrival

A highly satisfactory experience dealing with the Dundee MG branch where I was provided with very good customer advice and support throughout the purchase process. Being disparate from the dealership (one and a half hours drive) I was particularly pleased, and impressed, with the video call facility which the Sales Person used to maintain contact in person with me.

UPDATED review : I’ve had to get rid of the car
As it wasn’t as great as it first seemed . Also the service from the staff left me feeling undervalued so I went on to another dealership and changed Brands. That’s what happens when your staff undervalue the customers

Top 5 star service this is the third car I’ve had and the level of service from the people at the desks to the guys doing the services is second to none. They can’t do enough for you and they make you feel like a valued customer. My nearest branch is an hour away and it’s a journey I happily make because I trust them to make me happy.

I took the "service while you wait" option rather than wait for a later appointment when a courtesy car would be available. It was only a couple of hours and the free coffee was lovely. I would advise having something to read with you if you do this.
I've used this garage before and the staff are always very friendly and helpful.

The communication was terrible. Made several attempts to get updates, and when the phone was answered, I was told that they would find out and get back to me, which they never did. I realise that they had to call MG to get a way forward, but took over two months to repair a software issue, so a long time with little information.

Bought this car (mgzs) brand new on 26th October.
Problems from day one with the tyre pressure monitoring system (not working also the engine economy stop/start system not working!)
Car back to dealership and cant find anything wrong.
Contacted them again and they found that the tyres had been taken from another car and computer was not speaking to them.
Car taken in once more and wheels swapped about and now working.
Contacted Darrlen Blane (Skoda service Manager) and he took it for a spin round the block and verified the eco stop start system was not working and will have to order a module from china!
Got a phone call from Lauren (mg service) on the 24th November saying that they have the module ordered from china available but would not be available to fit until the 4th of December as a courtesy car would not be available until then??
I was meant to be getting back to her to verify date but having problems getting through. Since found out that she is away to pastures new.
This morning I had a problem starting car and just about to call for help to the AA when it started!!
Trying just now to contact Darren Blane (skoda service manager) who is going to phone me back - according to the lady at skoda.
I have contacted mg main office on two occasions to keep them in the picture, who refer me back to the service department for retification.
I have feeling I have been "sold a pup".
Still waiting on phone call from Darren.
8th December the car is in the garage once more for a new stop/start module to be fitted, and low and behold it works!
The car should have been perfect from the word go.
I have now given a 2 star (was 1)

A wee hick-up at the beginning upon arrival - but perfect service and helpful service receptionist. Could advise that you do not accept AmEx before I was trying to pay!
