Delivery should have been two or three working days, but instead we waited over 2 1/2 weeks just to be told that our window was damaged in transit not once but twice, and it was also deleted off of their system by mistake so they didn’t know we had an order.
Shop somewhere else.

Missing Parts
One of my roof windows was missing crucial fixing brackets and the handle. Currently seven days since I made JJ Roofing Supplies aware of this and I still haven’t received the missing parts despite making it clear that they were holding up the job and costing me money.

We can see you placed this order on 28.06 and that you received the windows on 02.07. This issue was then raised on 15.07 and I can see that all information was passed to the Manufacturer on the same day. As these fixings are coming to you directly from Altaterra, they have provided us a despatch date of 18.07 with Royal Mail. We are monitoring this issue closely and we will keep you posted with any update.

Not impressed with how pallet was…
Not impressed with how pallet was delivered. Several roof tiles broken because of the way the pallet was wrapped. Luckily I had ordered some spares.

Not happy with JJ Roofing
After spending hours researching the product I needed, I decided to place my order with JJ Roofing. The process was straightforward, and I was patiently waiting for delivery. However, a few days later, I noticed an email stating my order had been cancelled and refunded—without any explanation. I’ve attempted to contact their support team multiple times but have been unable to get through, which has been extremely disappointing. A simple acknowledgment or reason for the cancellation would have gone a long way.

Well I’m not a roofer
Well I’m not a roofer, just an ordinary guy who needed to replace some roof tiles. I came across this supplier and was already impressed with the reviews so I places my order.
I received a phone call next working day to inform me that they weren’t in stock but they would order them in for me, which was totally fine as I wasn’t in a rush.
When it came to receiving my order unfortunately the courier delivered someone else’s pallet.
I got in touch with the customer service team and they couldn’t do enough to sort it all out. They arranged collection and then arranged for my delivery to arrive which did.
I believe this is the best customer service I have ever received, and it’s all down to Carlotta Modesti. My order wasn’t worth thousands of pounds but it certainly felt like it.
Thanks JJ Roofing Supplies, I used to think Apple were number one at customer service but you have knocked them off the top spot by a mile.

Ordered quite a few wall pier caps and copings.
Had a few issues where I ordered a few wrong things.
They responded to calls and emails quickly, sorted out my issues and re ordered the bits I needed without any fuss.

Appalling returns process and zero accountability – avoid
I placed an order on the 9th of May that I ended up needing to return. The items were unused and unopened. What should have been straightforward turned into over a month of delays and a complete refusal to initiate a return, and it is still ongoing.
JJ Roofing told me there was a £40 collection fee from Velux, despite this being mentioned nowhere on their website or at checkout. I challenged it, and they stood by it. Only after I opened a PayPal dispute did they suddenly revise the fee to £5. That says it all.
They are now claiming they cannot issue a refund until Velux refunds them. This is not in their returns policy and is legally irrelevant. The refund obligation is with the seller, not the supplier.
The items are still unused and ready to go, but JJ Roofing has continued to delay, shift blame, and stall well beyond a reasonable timeframe.
No customer should have to chase a company for a month just to return something, especially when they advertise hassle free returns.
I have escalated the case to PayPal with all evidence submitted. I would not recommend buying from this company under any circumstances.

As per evidence provided to Paypal, our T&Cs are clear on what items are returnable or not.
We have followed a single line of action, which has been to facilitate this return to Velux, as this classes as a non-stocked item which we would not allow to return to our stock.
We have been faced by consistent opposition to comply by yourself, and we are not able to control the delays in pick-up by the manufacturer.
As previously stated, we have operated in good faith and following a clear line of behaviour to facilitate this return, although we could have simply denied it based on our T&Cs.
We have also negotiated the charges in your favour, and once again I would like to remind you that we do not impose these charges, as this is not something that comes back to our stock.
We will continue to pursue this matter standing by our ethical and professional obligations.
