The program is very organized and it is very good at helping you crawl before you can walk. Excellent curriculum that pushes you but if you put in the work you will definitely see the result. The team is very accessible, they communicate well and they are very professional. As useful as AI is now nothing beats human to human interaction. The cost to benefit ratio this program offers is amazing, worth every yen!

In the pre intermediate 2 course, I felt I am exactly where I need to be; where it’s challenging but also not leaving me completely lost. (Post taking an introductory Japanese class over the span of a year, and with years of random studying spurts). The class focuses heavily on grammar and speaking; which is by far the trickiest part for myself. The class is just big enough where you can rest your mind a little in between answering each question. Erina is an excellent teacher and is so funny. I often myself muting my mic so I can laugh. It would be helpful to have a concrete idea of what is to be expected for each class. I often am wondering exactly which part of the textbook to look at before hand, as well as the listening exercises. Erina enunciates her words so well, however the textbook audio files are exceptionally fast and very robotic. 5/5 would definitely recommend to anyone !

I feel that Kanami-san and her coworkers have done a great job of creating a fun and supportive learning environment. Rather than feeling pressured, I feel empowered to learn. Also, the small class sizes make for a very non-intimidating learning environment. The homework outside of class reinforces what we are learning during the class. Additionally, the Japanese Conversation Club is a great way to meet and practice speaking Japanese with fellow students.I feel that the course is very well structured, and is an excellent value for the money.

I've had a great experience this course and have found it to be a good blend of challenging but approachable. I have found it welcoming and enjoyable despite myself being an absolute novice/beginner

I enrolled in Japademy after many years away from studying Japanese. I am an older adult, yet I found that I fit in well with my classmates and enjoyed the live online classes. The teachers are all very well prepared, patient, and helpful. The learning materials are well developed and appropriate for each stage of learning. The "conversation club" was very helpful in practicing what we learned with others in a natural way. It was great fun getting know my classmates over the months, and there was always a fun, supportive atmosphere. And finally, the value for money is excellent. I would not be able to find this high quality of Japanese instruction for the cost anywhere else than Japademy.

I had a really great experience taking Beginner 1 Japanese w/ Japademy. It was a great foundation to learn Japanese, and the lectures and coursework are well structured and make it fun to learn!

I loved how patient Erina sensei was and how she (or Kanami) were quick to respond to emails when I had a questions.

My one recommendation is that it would be helpful if the online materials matched the flow of the course so that we could follow along/practice more easily. There were only 5 chapters in the online course but 10 weeks of lessons. I like to review the course material prior to the class but I had no idea what we would be covering and had to guess where to stop.

Japademy has helped me ease in to learning the language, considering that it's very intimidating as a beginner. The class interactions using the lesson slides are very helpful!

My daughter is 13 years old. She really enjoys the classes, the lessons are simple and easy to understand, and the teacher explains everything in detail. Online learning is very convenient.

I took the Beginner 1 general course online. It was excellent. They help break things down to make it easy to understand and learn. I love that you can access the sessions before and after class so you can review the concepts. They gave homework practice to solidify the learnings and love that there was a training app we could access.

I was studying using phone apps for two years and my progress was very slow, and my focus couldn't be maintained. With Japademy I can speak with native speakers, practice writing in my homework, study the vocabulary in Quizlet, complete extra practice sheets, complete ungraded quizzes, and add all the unknown words I encounter in class into a vocab notebook. Now I have a rotating circuit that keeps me engaged. I look forward to the next intake that is coming soon.

Japademy classes take the stress out of learning Japanese!
The teachers are always patient, encouraging and excited about the students’ progress!
You also have an option to review the material ahead of the class or after it, so the progress and retention of the concepts is pretty easy. And as the classes are small, you end up speaking a considerable amount of Japanese every class, which is amazing!

I enjoyed the focus on constructing practical sentences for conversation like asking for your favorite hobby, asking for directions, and describing what someone else's opinion is.

I am gaining more practical speaking knowledge than perfecting my grammar from a textbook.

I have wanted to learn Japanese for so long! I've tried apps, Youtube videos, and self-instruction, but nothing ever really stuck. I've been studying with Japademy for 4 going on 5 terms at this point and, week after week, I continue to see amazing results. I think to myself, "wow I can actually read, write, and speak Japanese". Kanami-san is an amazing teacher and she really cares about her students. I genuinely look forward to class every week and feel so motivated to keep studying on my own after each lesson. I highly recommend Japademy to anyone (at any level) wanting to learn Japanese!!
