After the bad experience I had with the guide tour man plus the B hotel where
I left my sunglasses at the reception desk unfortunately they did not return them.

Plus I have paid again and again for train and buses it was very disappointed the extra cost after
I have paid you NEARLY £5.000

Wonderful, large hotel rooms in great locations.
Very good guides but some were hard to hear (very quiet voices in noisy locales)
The suggested side trips were very good experiences.
What we did not like was our schedule was too full. Less free time than we realized (our fault for not catching that).
One day in particular it would have been better to have a guide with a car…we took so many trains and taxis…exhausting.
The trains were a big inconvenience…lugging our carry on size bags up and down escalators and stairs.
We were told to only take a carry on size suitcase yet we saw many, many people with much bigger bags.
TIGHT connections on some transfers.

I have so much praise for Inside Japan’s supportive and professional staff. They tailored my experiences so well, specifically for exploring Japanese culture, its history and its Buddhist temples.
Their 24hr customer service line is a rare feature today. From personal experience there’s nothing like receiving prompt, responsive and friendly care when I sought help or needed to clarify any details of my itinerary.

Had an absolutely fabulous 40th Anniversary trip to Japan and Singapore with Inside Japan. They put together a comprehensive itinerary, accompanied by a personalised guide booklet. Arrived at the first hotel and were given a package containing all our bus and train tickets plus the portable WiFi and tickets for some pre-booked experiences. They even managed to source us tickets for the much sought after Sumo tournament in Tokyo. Would highly recommend this company to anyone planning a trip to Japan or any of their other destinations.

Easy booking process and good follow-up; very clear materials/itinerary. Instructions were very easily to follow, and Jenny was a wealth of information during the booking process. We went with InsideJapan for our second trip to Japan after the positive experience the first time and they did not disappoint.

The tour was fun but we needed more than 1 person to manage our group. He was good but it was too much for 1 person

We loved our jam packed days filled with a huge variety of fascinating places, foods, and experiences - both traditional and modern - that were unique and ‘off the beaten path.’ From the Sumo tournament in Tokyo to hiking through a gold mine on Sado Island and so much in between- our family treasured every minute and highly recommends this memorable tour of a lifetime.

Be fit and ready to hike in cities and in nature to see many amazing temples, waterfalls, gardens etc.

This trip was superb. A terrific guide, a nice group of people, and a marvelous diversity of experiences. We were lucky with the weather too.

The whole process starts with a teams meeting and finding out what you want out of your trip, i.e. your budget, your likes/dislikes, your interests, your expectations of group tours, size of tour, your food preferences, your ability of travel and whether you want a lot to do, relaxing or something in the middle. They really do listen and try and fine tune a trip to your liking and expectations. For me, they nailed it and felt they even exceeded my expectations. The booked everything from restaurants, to pickups, transfers and train tickets. They always gave recommendations when asked and gave multiple options.

The gizmo that meant there was internet connection at all times. Without access to maps on-line this journey would not have been possible.
Inside Japan answered all queries within minutes.

You went to places that I wanted to see and would be difficult to do on our own. Price is reasonable, guides are knowledgeable, helpful, and professional.

They did an excellent job of helping us to coordinate and plan the many (and geographically dispersed) places and activities we wanted to include in our trip. Additionally, they set us up with some unique and interesting experiences such as meeting with a Maiko in Kyoto and taking a sushi class which brought our trip to the next level. The local guides were all excellent, entertaining and knowledgeable (and kept us on our toes regardless of age!). Hotels were clean, nice and well located. We really appreciated the care package of tickets and detailed information for each location, which also included at times step-by-step guidance on our travel arrangements for the day. We now feel like we could navigate the Japanese rail system more confidently on a return trip.
