This decision not only undermines the club's storied history and values, but it also showcases INEOS's blatant disregard for the passionate fanbase who have long called for change.
INEOS, a global chemical company, has a contentious history marred by environmental controversies and a lack of social responsibility. Their association with Manchester United is a match made in corporate greed hell, a toxic pairing that will only serve to further alienate the devoted supporters who have stood by the club through thick and thin.
As the club's fanbase, we have been vocal in our disdain for the Glazers' management, which has resulted in a steady decline of the team's on-field success and off-field integrity. Instead of addressing our concerns, INEOS has chosen to align itself with the very forces that have brought Manchester United to this low point.
