IMO Car Wash - Letchworth Omdömen 37

I always use IMO Car Wash for my routine cleans. The automated conveyor system is incredibly fast, usually getting me in and out in under five minutes. I really appreciate the staff who do the initial manual pre-wash spray, as it helps shift the heavy dirt before the brushes start. It is affordable, highly convenient, and leaves the car looking great. The automated dryers can occasionally leave a few tiny water spots, but for the price and speed, you cannot beat it. Highly recommended for a hassle-free wash!

My windscreen was still very dirty after my wash and the water left on my car dried and left a dry residue, like limescale.

We took a triple foam program and the wash was very quick and didn’t clean the top or back of the car. When we complained we were told there is only one colour foam, the triple colour foam no longer is available. The gentleman did offer to wipe over where there was still dirt but this was only done on a small area.

I had the Rain Guard option. Exterior bodywork was cleaned reasonably well but my alloy wheels didn't get cleaned properly. I had to finish them off myself at home. The Operative didn't apply the "enhanced foamer cleaner" in the pre wash area for the "Alloy Spa". They just jet washed them. I definitely didn't get the service I'd pre-paid for.

Wash was ok, thought I could have ceramic xtr wash and rain guard together but I couldn't, it was one or the other, and when you get to the end of the automatic system there's meant to be a green light to tell you drive off, and I didn't get that, so I drove off when the car to a standstill.

Reasonable price and even with a few cars ahead, the wait isn’t long. For the price and the time, the wash is good, but leaves some parts untouched. I suppose you can’t make a machine to fit every single car. It’s entirely fine!

I am editing and scoring high due to the fact their customer service got back to me immediately and offered me a full refund for the poor service. I really appreciate the gesture and they took ownership of the problem .

Very poor
I bought a triple foam hoping it’s better than eco. Believe me my glass, windscreen and most parts of the car body had marks all over.

The guys are always nice and helpful and the friendliness is worth the 4 stars but it’s not the best wash you’ll have. Usually an area missed but it convenient, quick, reasonably priced and as a lone female I can generally feel intimidated by interacting with groups of men (in life, not to do with these car washes) but as I’ve said they have always made me feel comfortable, been friendly and they always help if I can’t get my car in neutral.

I’m sure I could pay more to get a perfect wash or even say something to the guys if I cared enough to do so but this is adequate value, good customer service, and so I use the IMO washes exclusively. (Letchworth and St Neots)

I’ll return to the hand car wash around the corner. Got home and the left side of my car is still dirty. Too quick to spray and brush at the beginning. My car wasn’t even too dirty, just winter road dirt , but one side still grubby. I should have gone back but was so busy when I noticed an hour after. Only paid £10 for triple foam but would assume the whole car would have been cleaned , now will have to clean passenger side myself. For a small price more I will stick with the car wash around the corner .. lesson learned

Brilliant, there were only three guys there, they did absolute everything perfect, both young guys worked very hard and it was so busy and their quality of cleanliness was superb. 5 star for them

Date of incident approximate. First visit, boot lid and number plate left dirty and they did the most awful job of the interior, only bothering to wipe half the windscreen. 2nd visit, they literally blew the petrol cap off my 2012 plate car, handed it to me through the window, denied it until I kicked off, refused to provide insurance details, handed me £30 and threatened me ‘Don’t ever come around here again’. So neither myself or anyone I know will go there again.
