Terrible Customer Service. Was advised when placing the order that all items were in stock and would be immediately shipped and should arrive 3-5days. After 2 weeks of contacting them, the items still hadn't been shipped due to various excuses or comments like 'this is unusual'. They advised it's being shipped today on 3 separate occasions. At each point of contact they said they would investigate and let me know. Never received a follow up on any occasion. Still awaiting the products 3 weeks later.

I recently purchased some S.T. Dupont parts and a very nice cigar cutter from this online store. I am very impressed by the fantastic product range and how quickly my order arrived in Singapore.

Slight delivery delay due to item being out of stock but it was well communicated. Item arrived on time for the new date and in perfect condition. Wouldn’t hesitate to use them again.

I ordered an ST Dupont Maxijet lighter from here for my brother's birthday, after finding them to be the cheapest on Google Shopping.

However, once the item was delivered we were required to pay an extra £40 for taxes and duties on top of the original price!

I brought this up with the customer service team, explaining that it was not expressly stated that I would have to pay these extra fees and that I wasn't even aware that the company was in a foreign country as their website seems to go above and beyond to hide this fact.

The customer service team was extremely unhelpful, telling me that I should have read the terms and conditions, and even mentioning Brexit to me.

Please, if you're a UK customer, do a quick calculation and add 25% to the listed price, as this is what you'll likely pay for import duties. If Humidor Discount is still the cheapest then go ahead, but if not, I would recommend looking somewhere else.

A recommendation to the Humidor Discount team (if you read this): Make it explicitly clear on your website that there will be extra charges added if you're buying from abroad. I have ordered from many international stores before, but they always have a customs and duties calculation at checkout to show the 'true' price that you will be paying. Please consider this.
