The team at Howdens were fantastic from start to finish. After many delays over 6 months from purchasing the kitchen to having it installed Sofia and Claire were flexible and willing to help out wherever they could. During the install when we had questions they were always happy to take our call and so forthcoming with information.
The end result is far better than we could have imagined and we can not thank Howdens enough.

Was not sure what we needed to buy the customer service was excellent and they took the time to check back back on their records so they knew what to order for us. They said it would be delivered on Monday and it arrived on time and the delivery driver was very helpful and polite .

Gareth, Claire and all the team are worth their weight in gold, they always look after us, nothing is ever to much to ask and other than a lack of De-Caf tea and coffee I have not a bad word to say. My contractor pushed us to use Howdens Saffron Walden branch to get the kitchen design and buy the kitchen. We could have bought a kitchen from any of the Howdens Cambridge branches if we weren’t under pressure from our contractor. However, we came across kitchen designer Sofia Jonatas. She was knowledgeable, extremely helpful, and punctual. Most importantly, she listened to our needs; not like some of the kitchen designer I came across before, who think that because they have been doing the jobs for years, they can tell me what I should I have, without considering my own preferences. On one occasion, there was a need to make some changes to our kitchen design after most of it had already been installed. She was very willing to drive all the way over to north of Cambridge – later the very same day! Anyway, to cut a story short, it turned out my new idea wasn’t practical, and it transpired into a wasted journey for Sofia. She was so calm and professional, though – completely understanding and easy-going. I won’t hesitate to buy another kitchen from Sofia next time. I give her 5 our 5 stars for her customer service skills.

Service was excellent from planning to drop off of the kitchen, even keep the worktops back a couple of weeks so I could get on with fitting the kitchen in place.

Everything I ordered was perfect for the job

The kitchen was planned and delivered as agreed, more than happy with that aspect, the frustration has began with the ordeal of trying to find a stainless steel sink that isn't shaped like a banana, I have now returned 4, I appreciate the staff are as keen to resolve this issue as I am, they have even suggested I source a sink elsewhere, I am also very disappointed with what I would call a decline in the quality of your products, which I presume is a money saving measure, doors and decor panels have been reduced to 16mm thick, no return of the gloss finish on decor panels, so when the plinth board is fitted, it leaves the matt finish of the panels on show, at the moment I would seriously think twice before purchasing another Howdens kitchen.

I ‘adopted’ a Howdens kitchen when I bought my house some years ago. I needed to replace a ceiling extractor fan as I thought I was clever and could do it myself, not realising it was just a blown fuse….not a bright idea!! It was beyond help. I emailed Claire at Saffron Walden for any guidance she could give me. She was extremely helpful and pleasant with me, giving me names of fitters who may be able to assist. She has been supportive all the way through the process which I’m sure she didn’t need to be so I can’t thank her enough. What an asset to Howdens she is!!! The fitter was brill so I’m hoping to leave a review for him on his site too. I’m very happy today..

I had a great experience using Howdens for my new kitchen extension.
Holly at the Saffron Walden branch was very patient and accommodating with my ever-changing needs.
I would have preferred more options for my corner larder, and I did have to source my handles and worktops elsewhere as Howdens didn't offer what I needed.
The CAD drawings they gave me were very helpful.
