Orion trainers....very comfy...half a size up for extra width
Bought these Orion trainers in York. As they don't come in wide and I have wide feet and previous shoes in the brand had been a big snug I went up a half size and they have been perfect. Just done a weekend away wearing them all the time without any rubbing and found that the cushioning is excellent
Miracle of Miracles!
Although I have been happy to live in a pair of extremely wide Hotter boots, I needed summer shoes for an event. The patience I received from the staff at the Hotter shop in Chichester was incredible. A young woman there called Steph kept on looking for more shoes when even the widest shoes were too tight for me. And she found some! I was so happy I felt like dancing and that is exactly what I shall be doing in them next month.
People at Hotter do not seem to…
People at Hotter do not seem to understand that if a parcel is not delivered (admitted in writing by EVRI and documented on their systems) it cannot be returned. I have had several promises of a refund but still not received for over £140. Please sort it out Hotter, you should be better than this!
Recently purchased Silver Robyn II Shoes…
Recently purchased Robyn II Shoes Reference: RBYNZS Colour: Silver. Extremely disappointed in the way these shoes mark so easily. Worn for first time today just walking round town. Have lots of hotter boots & love them. Am so upset as silver polish doesn’t exist..I just assumed they would be a bit hardier than this. P.S am 70+ so it was a gentle walk.
Excellent service and staff
Went to hotter today in trentham s o t .looking for some comfy sandles. Looked around found a few pairs the assistant april came over and got the right sizes for me after trying on a couple of different sizes choose the ones I wanted but out of stock in my colour april checked they were in stock to order so she sorted she had to have help as she hax only been there for three weeks but all sorted and paid for home delivery .april is a very pleasant lady nothing was too much trouble wish her luck in her new job when I got got home we nt on the website the price was £65 I was charged ,£79 so rang the store sue dealt with it she was lovely ran̈g me back later to say the refund had gone through and my sandles have been dispatched .so sn excellent visit and two very nice members of staff xxx
Poor customer service
I returned a pair of faulty shoes with a manufacturer’s fault, they offered to replace them. However they no longer make that particular line. I requested a pair nearly identical to them but they requested I pay the price difference. It ws their shoes that were faulty and now I need to pay more to get a pair back!! Very poor customer service! This is to a customer who has purchased a number of shoes from them. I will now be looking elsewhere.
Recommend these boots
I needed a low cut boot to wear with trousers and also new walking boots, but as I have to wear orthotic insoles, I was concerned they wouldn't fit. Some reviews I read said theirs didn't, and some said theirs did. Delighted to say that mine, ehich are quite large, were fine. Both pairs of boots very comfy and smart (Murmur and Haze GTX). Footwear often rubs my very boney feet, especially ankles and lateral and median borders, but neither of these pairs do that. Very pleased with purchases, especially as they were on sale. Ordering process was easy and they arrived very quickly, well packaged.
Deluge of overly pushy emails
I have 12 items of Hotter footwear bought over the last 3 years, so I obviously find them quite good.
But I am heartily sick of the deluge of emails usually telling me to HURRY or DON'T MISS...
I have unsubscribed and hope that cures it.
I see their website doesn't seek customer feedback - a bad sign.

Only place I buy shoes
The Gentleman at the store was very pleasant and helpful , unfortunately I had to send a pair back as I think he ordered the wrong fitting for me , I’m a EE fitting and they sent EEE on both pairs but one pair are lacing so can still keep those on but not the other pair ,

Awful website/customer service
Awful website and customer service. Due to error on website same order was placed twice and I was charged twice. I noticed immediately and rang customer service to cancel only to be told I couldn't do this but would have to wait and return the unwanted order and would only get my money refunded once they had received the shoes which could take a couple of weeks. They were positively rude and unhelpful. Company has been taken over by Woolovers - need to get their act together. Despite being a hotter customer for years I will never buy from them again.
'Early access sale' offers are 💯…
'Early access sale' offers are 💯 misleading. I bought Sienna and Modena sandals at a much cheaper price than they are in this scam of a sale! I only know about those two styles because I bought them, for much less. It's most likely happened to other sales items, but I haven't time to trawl through them. Also I bought two purses at a 'bargain' price. Absolutele trash; hard plastic, tiny change compartment, just awful. It's so sad that such a (formerly) reputable company are resorting to dodgy sales tactics and selling cheap rubbish, with the hotter logo on them. It's defiling the previously good name. I have been very happy with hotter shoes in particular for some years now; never looked elsewhere and have found the comfort and fit perfect. Not so now. I'll be looking at other brands in the future.
A long wait for refunds
I have bought Hotter shoes for years as they are really well made and provide excellent value, but their refund policy leaves a lot to be desired. Why does it take up to a month when other well known companies refund in as little as three working days ?
I have sent two emails recently asking when I am likely to be receive the £72 that is owed, but so far have had no reply...
Absolute disgrace of a company
Absolute disgrace of a company, telephoned and was told me that my items had been dispatched by Evri (a lie) yesterday after I paid additional postage for next day delivery. Telephone customer services again and was told that my items had been dispatched by Royal Mail yesterday, NOT Evri as previously advised. Asked for tracking number, the6 argued with me and refused to give it to me until I insisted they give it to me. Turns out items hadn’t even been dispatched until TODAY! Complete and utter liars, am going to have to phone again tomorrow to ask for a refund for extra postage which I paid for next day. What a total shambles, NEVER AGAIN! No apology given, treated with such disrespect, they can take their shoes and put them where the sun doesn’t shine!
I bought a new pair of Leanne II and…
I bought a new pair of Leanne II and the colour wasn’t as expected, when I rang and asked if I could return for another colour I was informed I would have to pay returns price of £2.95 and reorder and pay £4.50 again for delivery making a total of £ 7.45 to exchange. As Hotter have closed all shops in my area you cannot see the colours before purchase so it seems unreasonable to have to pay so much. Lesson learned, after buying hotter for many years I will not be using them in the future. Will find shop where I can try and buy in future.
Smelly sole material
Well, In general, I love the Tourist sandals but what are they making the sole out of because after a handful of times wearing the sandals, they sole smells awful (and my feet do not have an odour) anyone else experienced this?
Rubber sole crumbled
I have just had to throw away the third pair of Hotter shoes because the rubber sole crumbled. I expect shoes which are quite pricy to last longer. Pity I can’t leave a photo here.
Terrible company DO NOT USE
Would give them no stars if I could. They keep sending their catalogues out even after I have sent numerous emails asking them to cease. First email was sent in December 2024 and it’s been ongoing ever since, they still arrive in the post despite customer services replying to my emails saying they would stop. I am now reporting them to the relevant authority as I do not want them to keep sending these catalogues.
