Shocking product quality and even worse customer service. Avoid this company at all costs and save yourself the headache. They are an absolute joke!

Ordered a Cool + Hot Vortex fan and I can say it is not even close to Dyson fan. Weak motor doesn't generate enough air flow to cool/heat a small room. It is also noisy as hell.

Now to customer service. When placing an order it was a disclaimer that next day delivery is not available due to week delay for some reason. That did not stopped eshop to take payment for the next day delivery, as it is an only option at the checkout.
But that's half of the problem, it took a whole month to receive an item. Company didn't even bothered to send any updates. I had to chase them on weekly basis to get any information about status of my order. After arguing I have managed to get a next day delivery charge refund.

The return process is also not impressive as the products they selling. No return label is provided. You have to pay the postage which is over £10 for a medium sized fan. Then you have to print out a note stating what's the reason for the return, again no form provided.

I have a similar story to share about a faulty paddleboard. I took delivery on 12 July and reported the faults on 7 August. I had only used the paddleboard for about 3 hours in total when I noticed the valve was leaking and seam on the entire left side coming apart. Like the other reviewers I emailed providing a video and photos, made countless phone calls to no avail. I was told the problem was common and that I should use a wrench on the valve and use the glue provided to stick the parting seams together.

We've reviewed the video and can absolutely assure you that all you need to do is use the wrench to tighten the valve. All leaks around the valve like in your video are commonplace and all you have to do is tighten the valve.

In regard to the peeling.
It is very common for the seal around the edge of the board to come away on all paddleboards, that is why the glue is part of the repair kit.
The heat also speeds up the process of the seal coming away from the board.

Utter rubbish. I continue to call but now no-one answers or has replied to my last email of 17th August.
If anyone is in doubt about the validity of my complaint let me assure you this is genuine, and the first time I have ever given a review bad or otherwise. I so dearly regret ever making this purchase with this company.

Here's a condensed version of a long story:
Bought a Tidal Rave paddle board, second time out the seam started peeling away in several places.
Requested a return (they offer a 2 year warranty) apparently.
They asked me to take a video, I submitted it.
They emailed and asked us to glue it!
DO NOT repair a product yourself, you will invalidate the warranty claim, and they know this.
Fortunately wife manages a solicitor's office so have legal weight to proceedings. Also highlighted the DSR (Distance Selling Regulations) that govern internet sales to them, they didn't like that.
They had no choice but to accept the exchange, so parcelled it up. Spoke to someone yesterday called Tag and asked him to confirm it had arrived who promised to call back yesterday, he didn't of course..
To be continued but the story is already bad enough to give this rating. An appalling company that I shall do my best to dissuade anyone from buying from in the future. I'm currently leaving as much negative press on social media as I can.
Crap product, crap company, a disgrace.

Me and my girlfriend bought two boards from Hotsnap the tidal rave pro, the second time we used the board the valve broke. We called countless times and waited week's for help to return the item or replace. After trying countless times to raise the issue to management nothing was done to help us. Have managed to get through to customer service today that has tried to put a plan in place to return the product but have been so far unsuccessful and have been hung up on and had many calls rejected. DO NOT BUY FROM THIS SUPPLIER.

Don’t ignore the bad reviews. The fan we bought was pretty useless, definitely didn’t cool the air as it was supposed to and was so weak you could only feel it if it was right next to you. We kept it anyway as thought it was better than nothing and we were in the middle of a heatwave. Flash forward to the next heatwave a year later and we realised that whenever we filled it up with water, it was leaking straight back out of the usb socket! Contacted the company as this is a safety issue and got strung along being asked to make a video. Had to chase for a response and eventually got told they couldn’t do anything anyway because it had just gone over the 1 year warranty (they had the dates before they even asked me to make the video.) They’re good at sending automated responses with apologies but no real actual help.
The fact that they didn’t care that they’d sold a product with such a safety flaw is very worrying, you’d think they’d want to look into it and recall the product if necessary.

Fan didn’t work, was told to make a video, how can you make a video of a product that doesn’t work, terrible customer service…. I returned it, was reimbursed for the fan but wasn’t reimbursed the postage, which amounted to £21, £5 to receive it and £16 to send it back.

Further to my previous review I’ve now added a star as I returned the vortex packaged as requested, tracked parcel force, and received a refund within 2 days! Don’t like the product but can’t fault the refund process less £15 in postage altogether!

Ordered the Vortex fan 18th July and then received an email saying there was a weeks delay after I contacted them on 27th July. On 4th August after having being told there would be a further delay I requested a refund. It took until 16th August to get a refund.
I think this company is a sham, taking your money and doing nothing until forced to hand your money back, presumably they are earning interest in the meantime. Wouldn’t go near them now having learned the hard way.

Ignore all the bad reviews- I suspect they are from paid bots by Dyson. This is a great product. Its smaller than the normal Dyson and yes- you do have to wait 3 weeks for delivery (which it clearly states on their website) but for £160 it's bloody good. It's powerful, keeps the room cool and looks really impressive.
With a normal Dyson it takes around 10 mins for the room to become properly cool- it's the same with this fan. I would highly recommend buying this if you're looking for a solid alternative.
I'm realising now just what a rip off Dyson (price wise) products are.

Consumers have ordered in Very good faith , failure to deliver has ensued , customers have requested chargeback (and quite rightly so) have indeed been reimbursed and courteous goodwill delivery for the very much inconvenience to the consumer .
Might I clearly remind you sirs that :-
" FAILURE of Delivery Within a REASONABLE TIME Span , and AFTER The AGREED DEADLINE IS IN FACT A BREACH UNDER The CONSUMER RIGHTS ACT of 2015
(Of which you have already cleary been notified of such act) This IS IRRESPECTIVE of any chargeback requests made , which is a perfectly reasonable request to be made by me the consumer customer , failure of delivery was down to your goods elves inefficiency ,
TIME is very much now of the essence , I REQUEST VERY PROMPT DELIVERY of the Ordered WHITE / GOLD , or failing that WHITE / SILVER .
WITHOUT UNDUE DELAY .

Terrible product. So angry i paid all this money for something to blow a bit of pathetic air out that you can't feel unless you sit in front of it. Dont waste your money. This company should be ashamed of themselves. 3 weeks delay to the delivery ontop of an awful product did not help.

Good product. I used a normal fan before . I get a headache every morning because of dehydration. This is not making the room cool as I expected. But It does the job.

Purchased fan recently, unfortunately is not strong enough when temperature is higher then 25 degree. For this price i did expect slightly better product.
Wouldn't purchased again or recommend.

I have ordered tidal rave paddle board which after 2 uses fall apart as the seam completely came off, was not glued properly. I asked for refund which was going to be processed immediately and after a week and daily emails and calls, no refund have been issued. The paddle board it self was pretty and came with a lot of accessories but the quality is poor, so is the customer service and the refund/ return process. I spoke to Tag who said will be escalating this every time I call but still no refund. Also I have noted that on their website there is a lot of positive reviews, this is because they do not publish the negatives as I have experienced myself.

Really really bad company. Lame excuses, delay after delay. I don’t even think they have any of the products I have ordered. Will be asking for a refund and if they can’t be bothered to do this either I will refer them to the bank and they can chase the money! Do not order anything from this company!!

I have requested on 3 occasions to cancel my order and have a refund issued to me without any replies from this company. This is due to them failing to deliver my Vortex bladeless fan, which was ordered on and paid for on the 20th July 2022.
I have now instructed my bank to interven in order to gain a refund.
I will not entertain this company again.

We bought the Hotsnap Vortex Air fan just before the latest heatwave (July 2022). It was cheaper than the Dyson. The cool function was useless. Our old £20 fan was better than this! Only buy this if you want to use it as a heater. We are confused why there are so many positive reviews of this product. Seems very suspicious! Personally, I would try a Dyson next time. Waste of money.

I would recommend buying the vortex air fan to anyone, first time buying from this company, delivery was quick and the product done exactly what it says in the description, I now have 4 in my house! Best purchase I’ve made this year me and my girlfriend love them

We ordered a fan/heater for my son's birthday and then were alerted that we might have to wait a further two weeks for delivery because of high demand. When I contacted Hotsnap to explain the need for a prompt delivery, they responded almost immediately to say they would try to speed it up. A few days later it arrived, in time for the birthday.
Their communication is excellent - I always felt there was a sensible human at the other end. So well done Hotsnap.
