Beautifully traditional small hotel. Just what you would want. Charming staff, discreet and welcoming. The room was lovely. Proper personal coffee service at breakfast, no horrible coffee machine!!

IDEAL
Dieses kleine Hotel ist in einer idyllischen Ecke gelegen. Relativ ruhig und doch völlig zentral. Fussläufig zum Pantheon oder zum Vatikan und ganz nah Piazza Navona. Angenehme Zimmer mit allem, was man braucht, sauber und modern. Ein gutes Frühstück auf der Dachterasse, die überhaupt für mich immer eine wunderbare Sache ist. Herrlicher Rundblick in die Nachbarschaft. Nachmittags sitze ich dort oft alleine und lese oder arbeite unter dem Sonnenschirm.

A lovely experince
Having stayed at many "luxury" hotels, we can say that Hotel Portoghesi is one of the best. Most important in making our stay pleasant and memorable is the pleasant and helpful staff including the hotel manager, the front desk, the lovely lady who provides breakfast and the staff that makes up the rooms. The daily fresh linen is an ultimate luxury. Contrary to all the tourist guides reporting minimal Italian breakfasts, the varied and ample breakfasts lay the foundation for the day. Well done all.

Excelente experiencia. Muy buena atención. El desayuno me encanto (solo le faltan los huevos revueltos para ser perfecto). La ducha me pareció muy chiquita pero nos adaptamos igual. Lo vale por la ubicación. Volvería 100%

A Great Place to Stay
Wonderful staff that are very helpful. Great breakfast and a very comfortable bed. The rooms are a little worn around the edges but the location is central to everything and the staff make it a worthwhile choice.

Nel complesso positiva per posizione centralissima,la cortesia e l'ospitalità. Molto buona la prima colazione,su richiesta anche latte vegetale per gli intolleranti. Arredamento un po' vecchiotto,ma gli ambienti sono tutti molto puliti. Solo l'impianto di climatizzazione andrebbe rinnovato

Wonderful location and hotel staff! Very thoughtful, helpful, considerate. Very good accommodations, updated bathrooms, extremely clean. Quiet yet within walking distance to all the major sites.

Hotelito pequeño perfecto para 3 noches en Roma. Situación excepcional, en pleno centro pero tranquilo y sin ruidos. Buena atención por el personal, buenos detalles como zapatillas desechables de rizo, buen desayuno y buena relación calidad precio. Como punto a mejorar, la ducha, algo pequeña e incómoda. Recomendable.

Essendo stato nei migliori hotel in Costa Smeralda (Hotel Cervo, Pitrizza ecc..) posso valutare con un 5 stelle i servizi, gentilezza e disponibilità del personale e accoglienza. Ottima posizione e soprattutto ottima colazione!! Grazie ci torneremo!

Hôtel très bien placé !
Hôtel très bien placé, ce qui permet de tout faire à pied! Accueil agréable, chambre propre, petit déjeuner correct (mais pain pas terrible et aucun fruit frais)
Manque d'eau chaude dans la douche, qui a été réglée le 1er jour mais qui a recommencé pendant le séjour. Hôtel un peu vieillissant, mais bon rapport qualité/prix au vu des prix pratiqués à Rome.
