We contacted Hornes Surveyors after receiving a good recommendation from someone within the property industry and the recommendation was highly justified. After making an initial inquiry for quotes we received a comprehensive fact sheet on the residential property in question. We instructed Hornes to complete a level 2 survey which was booked in very quickly. The report was sent to us 2 days after the survey was conducted and was comprehensive, easy to understand, and will prove useful in the future. Overall we were really happy with the service. The headline is Hornes Surveyors are brilliant. We were first time buyers and used Hornes twice for level 3 surveys, as our initial purchase fell through. Both reports were incredibly thorough and easy to read. They clearly set out issues with the buildings, highlighting how significant these were and advising how we should act in response to them - this was very helpful as we had little building knowledge before this process. The staff at Hornes were all responsive and professional in their communication. We were particularly grateful for David giving us his time to talk us through our questions after having read his reports. Hornes were recommended to us by a work colleague who praised their exact same qualities - I couldn't recommend their services highly enough!

We received a comprehensive and well presented report for a Grade II listed house. The report communicated complex technical information in a way that could be easily understood. We found the traffic light system particularly useful, as it clearly prioritised all the defects so we could plan the sequencing of the work. We commissioned Hornes Surveyors to undertake a level 3 survey on a 60s bungalow. The survey was undertaken quickly and the report issued a couple of days later.
