Superb desk, pity about the delivery
The desk is superb.Just what we wanted. Delivery, however, was harassing. Homepluis did not tell us what was in the delivery package; unpacking and assembly would have been £40 extra. Delivery company first gave us unexpectedly a time the next working day; once modified, we managed two days later. Only digital communication proved possible. Three items delivered, of which one was intended for Slough, so we had to call back delivery vehicle to give us correct parcel instead.

Our third-party courier aims to keep customers updated throughout the process to ensure as smooth a delivery as possible, but we appreciate that the initial next working day slot and limited communication options were not convenient in your case.
For clarity, full details of our delivery options, including room of choice as standard as well as optional unpacking and assembly services for an additional fee, are available on our website. We understand this might not always be front of mind on the day, so we’re always looking at ways to make this clearer and easier to spot along the way.
We also sincerely apologise for the parcel mix-up you experienced. That’s certainly not the level of service we aim to provide, and we appreciate you taking the time to resolve it with the driver.

Great experience
Great experience, I had an issue on the checkout that crashed, contacted customer service whom confirmed it had not taken payment and to resubmit.
They had Clear Comms, friendly, professional and reassured me about the payment. Item was in stock, Delivered with in a few days.
The item was great quality, reasonably priced and service was superb.
I Would definitely use this company again and already looking for other items based on my first experience using them.
I'll be leaving a google review for these as well as I have 4million views on my Google account, rather than Just Trustpilot too.

Unfortunately, the front of the wardrobe was slightly damaged. We spoke to Debbie on Sunday about it and by Wednesday we had a replacement delivered.
We can not fault the service in the store whatsoever.

had such a lovely experience shopping here with my daughter. From the moment we walked in, the staff were warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful. They took the time to help us choose the right furniture and home décor pieces without any pressure, which made the whole experience feel relaxed and enjoyable.
The quality of the items is beautiful, and the prices are very reasonable for what you get. You can tell they really care about their customers and take pride in what they offer. They were especially kind and patient with my daughter, which meant a lot to me.
We left feeling happy, confident in our purchases, and excited to style our home. I’ll definitely be coming back and would highly recommend this shop to anyone looking for stylish, affordable furniture and décor with outstanding customer service.

I had several questions for HomePlus about the product and about delivery. They were all answered very promptly, courteously, informatively, and completely to my satisfaction. The dressing table and stool which I eventually bought were solidly constructed and look very good in place so, excellent quality and value. Delivery was very quick too, despite the intervening Easter weekend.

Rude, unhelpful and aggressive.
Rude, untrained awful staff! First visit to the store today. I brought a horse sculpture and had no idea it was damaged. I returned it within 5 minutes of purchase. The lady was very rude, and condescending. She said there is a big sign out the front, that says clearance. Now forgive me clearance does not always mean damaged. Could be end of line clearance/discontinued. Now at no point did both women tell me i was purchasing a defective item. No where on the sale ticket that it said it was damaged. Being shouted at, humiliated in front of other customers. I expected better. You need to employ better staff that can deliver basic customer service! Waited 10 mins to initially be served. I can safely say I will not be entering into any shops you own again. If that's the service and attitudes of your staff member's! Absolutely appalling!

We understand that you purchased an item from our Clearance Outlet Store, which is clearly advertised throughout as offering ex-display items, ‘nearly perfect’ pieces, and end-of-line collections. While many items are in excellent condition, they may not always be in brand-new state, and this is reflected in the nature of the store.
It is disappointing to hear that you felt our team were “rude and condescending.” Our staff are something we take great pride in, and we consistently receive exceptional feedback regarding their service, professionalism, and character.
