Homebase - Altrincham Omdömen 

Absolutely appalling service. We have ordered a kitchen with Homebase and the service from the start has been horrendous. I picked some handles during my finalisation of the kitchen to be told by the kitchen man they look like council house handles. We was also asked if we wanted a drain in the worktop, when receiving the work top there was not drain in situ. We contacted Homebase and was told a drain could not be put in. We have received the kitchen with several items damaged and missing. Items have been resent out that was damaged for the second time and there is still paint missing off the draws. I have contacted several managers at Homebase who have also been very unhelpful. DO NOT ORDER A KITCHEN FROM HOMEBASE AS YOU WILL BE HIGHLY DISAPPOINTED!
We are still no further 4 weeks on and have got an unliveable kitchen.

Everything was ready to collect so in and out in minutes then I could go back in to browse for other items.

Good price on items with delivery to store.
Issue is that when you select 'Deliver to Store', you do not get any updates that you're item has been delivered.
Even the staff know that is a issue, so I waited an extra week just to find it was at the store.

Excellent customer service who went above and beyond

Sally on customer returns was fantastic and so helpful when we were buying Farrow and Ball paint at Homebase Altrincham. She took the time to check we were getting the best deal and saved us quite a bit of money. Will definitely use Homebase Altrincham again.

Service was exceptional, the young assistant was exemplary and extremely well mannered and courteous, it's great to have a young person with the attention and attitude above the rest, thanks so much Homebase Altrincham!

John, the Gardner at Boucher Road. BT12 6UA in Belfast was very helpful and friendly. He took the time to explain the different types of powerhouse and gave good information on the pavement sand. He was also very kind and helped me out to my car with the pavement sand.

Good experience except didn’t get a message that the store had my parcel so had to go in and ask

I had a problem with an item that I click and collected. I called the Altrincham store and spoke with Sally. She was amazing and offered me so many solutions. She was very professional and made my day.

Ease of ordering on line. Product ready to collect within an hour. Extremely helpful staff member who carried the item to the car for me.

Wrong items selected by Click &Collect staff, replacement quickly found but with no apology. Used the tills to purchase other items, overcharged by £8 on wheelbarrow tyre again quickly refunded but pricing needs checking by customer

Glad you asked me! I don't normally give feedback unless experience was exceptional, but my experience with you was SO rubbish I feel the need this time. Waited over a week for one tin of paint to be delivered to your Altrincham store (I'm a landlord and time of the essence to get properties back on the market so thought it would be quicker than delivery to my home) but heard nothing. Went to Altrincham store to check what was happening and sent to customer services desk where I could see my tin of paint sat on a shelf with my name on it. Customer services lady refused to give it to me as according to her computer my order said it was to be delivered to my home address so she'd have to send it back to head office. When I said to her there must be something you can do she accused me of being aggressive when I never even raised my voice - in fact I was laughing I was so incredulous at the ridiculousness of the situation. Eventually I managed to coax her into a solution - cancel my online order and repurchase the same tin at the till - but the whole experience was unnecessarily painful and the member of staff clearly felt your online order business was nothing to do with her and any problems weren't her fault or her responsibility to fix. As a customer Homebase is Homebase whether you buy on line or in person so I found the disconnect very disappointing and something you need to address - particular amongst your customer services staff (clues in the title guys!).

Flooring was grate quality delivery was 10/10 lovely man and women very helpfully homebase id very good its a shame when i took some flooring back to altrimham store for refund i have a bad experience at customer service desk the two ladys on the the desk was very un helpful rude service im 46 women so am quite mobile since the lack help o recieved . Feel sorry for any older person needing help at the desk with those rude lasy ladys i will think twice before i shop at that homebase store again they need refresher course on customer serive

Good service,prompt delivery

Had to drive for an hour to get to store with stock as no inter store click and collect or delivery option available. Stock on order page totals were incorrect as to availability, ordered 13 items- only 12 available in store.
Staff in store were pleasant, store was clean and tidy and felt much more upmarket than others I have been to. You need to be able to deliver from one store to another or home deliver on restricted stock items!!
