It works well for me...
I went to pick up (click & collect) PLAY by Ed Sheeran on pink vinyl, but also purchased the deluxe CD whilst in the shop. I've done this many times, and it works well for me. Occasionally I have items delivered, but it depends on my work schedule, etc. It's always a smooth process, and without any issues. Thank you!

If people don't use their high street stores regularly they will eventually disappear & one will be forced to rely on online sales which will push the population further into a soulless society.
I'm so grateful that Fopp (Covent Garden) & other HMV stores still have a presence in our towns & cities. Online sales of CD's, vinyl records, videos etc. hold absolutely no appeal for me!! I love Fopp & the opportunity to browse or pick up items that I can hold in my hand, look at, read about or discuss/ask questions of staff members. For the most part my experience has been of HMV workers with an incredible music & film knowledge, so hard to beat that human touch too. Long may Fopp & other HMV stores continue. Perhaps I'm one of a 'dying breed' but I still love listening to entire albums be it vinyl or CD (you can keep your downloading, streaming of music etc.) & I welcome the opportunity to visit HMV stores whatever town I happen to find myself in....if they have one!! Fopp/HMV is 'my happy place', one of them at least.

Nobody answers the phone in FOPP.
I have been trying to call this store for two days now. Nobody ever answers. Just a few moments ago - I was on hold for over 9 minutes and then, just cut off completely. What is the point? Absolute lack of professionalism or common courtesy. POOR.

There can be occasions where staff are already busy assisting customers in store which means they are unfortunately not able to answer the phone, and can only assume that this was the case on this occasion. Staff were super helpful and knowledgeable and the order arrived quickly, as I was advised it would. Overall, it was just a really positive experience ordering the album and then picking it up.

Fopp is Top .
I can honestly say the whole service could not have been better. Very efficient in putting the order through and making a reservation for it,to be picked up in store just a few days later. Was told by email that order had arrived. Picked it up following day. Perfect. Also, when I enquired about some other item the diligent shop assistant went from the basement to the ground floor and brought it to me within minutes. Was also very helpful with advice/regarding 2 other items...in other words- first class in every aspect .
