Quick delivery. Well packaged. Bought books for christmas presents. Absolutely brilliant. I know my grandson will love them.

I’m not someone who writes many bad reviews but this was a very disappointing buying experience.
I bought a book for my partner’s 80th birthday. The cover was slightly warped when it arrived so I had to weigh it down for a week or so to flatten, but it didn’t flatten completely. The photocopying was poor quality and sometimes carelessly done. Not worth the money.

Very happy with my purchase. Bought as a gift for my hubby i know he will love it .

I can’t write an honest review because I never received it. The tracking shows last scanned 2 weeks ago. Spoke to customer services who said this was normal. But not received item and it wasn’t cheap.

Great customer service. I made a mistake on an order and Emma sorted it for me the very next day , the books are now delivered and I’m thrilled with them. Thank you for your great service and I will definitely be using again ..

while the print was nice and looked like what I expected I asked for a customized inscription which they didn't provide. it was a bit dispaooiting to overlook these small important detail

Illegible personalised book which I complained about as it is not fit for purpose and requested a legible book or a full refund neither have been forthcoming as I write - avoid would be my advice

I bought this as a birthday present for my great grandson who will be 10 next week so can’t say how good it is but I am told it is impressive & he will love it.
Ordering & delivery was easy

I made a mistake on my order and it was too late to change it. The customer service remedied my problem speedily and with an astonishing outcome. The best service I have ever received from any company. Thank you so much.

First item unfortunately got lost in the post. Tracking said it was delivered but nowhere to be found. I emailed the customer services and Heather resolved my problem very quickly, sending out a replacement that arrived today. It is absolutely amazing, well worth the wait and original cost. I ordered as a christmas present for my mum and think she will be very pleased with it!
I will certainly consider ordering from here again if I am ever looking for a similar item.

My copy of Portsmouth FC papers came quickly. It is a Christmas Present so cannot comment on how well my Husband is enjoying it.

The only problem I had was not with the book but with the delivery. We have a parcel box and usually every delivery is put in this but this one just threw the package over the fence and it was pouring with rain. The wrapping was all cardboard but there were 2 layers of this fortunately as by the time we found the package it was very wet so it had only just started to soak into the inner layer and the book was damp but not ruined.

A brief word to sat thank you very much, easy to choose and order just what I wanted, delivered in time for my Dad's birthday and he is now taking time for a great read, no doubt reminding him of when he was young, is a good thing for him as he thinks and talks a lot about the/his past so a big thank you from me, is a lovely idea.. 🫡

I was really worried about ordering off Facebook but the book is awesome and the person I bought it for will love it. It came really quickly and the quality is superb. Glad I ordered the gift box as it is bigger than I thought. Absolutely love it.

I was very late in finding this company so I didn’t think I’d be able to receive it in time for my daughter’s birthday. But (without me asking) they pulled out all the stops & it came the day before. Great customer service.
She was thrilled with the newspaper/book showing headlines from the day she was born, right up to 2024. Hats off to everyone concerned it was much appreciated.

I would have like to have seen a picture of the newspaper before I spent nearly £80 on it. When it arrived I thought it would have a front page headline and maybe a picture but it was just obituaries etc. which is fine but I might have picked a different paper if I could have seen it first.

The book is of good quality, but the ridiculous app download and account creation required to track shipping, which doesn’t actually give any indication of where the product is is pointless and very poor UX.

I input incorrect billing details when placing my order online and sent Historic Newspapers an email explaining my error. They promptly responded by email assuring me payment had gone through successfully. And Historic Newspapers then acted unbelievably quickly to get the newspaper I had purchased delivered within less than 48 hours to my dad so it arrived in time for his 90th birthday. He was delighted with his present, it was incredibly special, and the certificate of authenticity is a nice touch too. Thank you to Historic Newspapers for the excellent product and for going above and beyond to get it delivered in time, although I left it so late to place my order. I'm so grateful. I happily recommend this company to anybody at a loss as to what to buy somebody about to celebrate an important birthday.
