Incredibly slow. Had an appointment for 9:30. Barely at 11:00 they took the car and at 11:40 completed, for only 2 tyres wasted so many hours.

I had to change the time when I had to take the car in to have the work done. They were very happy to change the time as I had to be at the hospital at 11.40am . The mechanic who was working on my car found that my brake fluid needed changing as the temperature was very high. The whole waiting time was just over an hour which gave me time to go home and have a coffee before attending the hospital

Came in for mot and failed but karl and his team sorted the problems out within a few hours they were really helpful highly recommend

Discs and pads fitted today and Wayne couldn't have been more helpful. Fast to come back with a quote and fitted me in same day! Hi Q are always competitive and helpful and are my go to garage when possible!

I had a flat tyre on a dual carriageway and had to use my spare, so I needed a replacement tyre as soon as possible. I called HiQ Tyres & Autocare Kettering and spoke with Karl, who was honest that they were a technician short but still went out of his way to try and squeeze me in.

Even though I’m not local and didn’t have an appointment, they were more than willing to accommodate me. When I arrived, I was told to pull straight in and they got started on my car immediately. Wayne, the technician, was efficient and professional, and they also checked my other tyres to make sure there was no further damage. They even checked and corrected the pressures on all the tyres, which was really appreciated.

The whole experience was smooth, reassuring, and well-organised during what could have been a stressful situation. Excellent customer service from both Karl and Wayne — I would highly recommend this branch.

Had a great service from HiQ Tyres & Autocare Kettering after being seriously let down by another tire company in Kettering. Wayne was superb in his customer service and explaining everything.

HiQ Kettering absolutely amazing service. After a really poor experience at Halfords Kettering for service & MOT booked in here to have work carried out following failed MOT. Halfords Kettering said £2000 work needed doing to pass. Quarter of the amount spent at HiQ and I am so grateful for the time to explain everything. Renewed faith and I can' recommend them enough!! So grateful to HiQ

Took my car to the Kettering branch for a mot and service. While they were doing this they took a chunk out of one of the brand new front discs a d didn't say anything. When I found out due to the steering shaking at speed . The manager thought he was doing me a favour replacing it. Absolutely shocking service. Avoid at all costs.

I took 2 cars in for MOTs and 1 had some repairs.

The staff here are great, very knowledgeable and explain things in a no nonsense way for you.

This was at the Kettering branch and the guys there are great. The MOT tester here was great and even gave me some advice about the car above and beyond the MOT.

Dear Customer Service Manager,

I am writing to bring to your attention an unfortunate experience I encountered with one of your employees at HiQ Kettering (1 Telford way) on the morning of September 26th. I had scheduled way in advance an MOT service for my vehicle after booking the appointment in July through BookMygarage. I received a confirmation call from your HiQ Kettering in a timely manner which was impressive, assuring me that my appointment was secured for the 26th of September.

However, upon my arrival at the garage at Kettering ( Telford way, 1), I was met with a disappointing attitude from a staff member who was extremely rude and dismissive. Their tone was sarcastic and uninviting, which is not what I would expect in a professional environment, especially when dealing with customers. I work six days a week, and I took time off specifically to have my car serviced on that day. This experience significantly tarnished what should have been a straightforward process but apart from leaving the place in disappointment as they said there was no booking I find myself that I only have a couple of weeks to do the MOT which has created a little headache to then book a more professional garage whilst asking for time off at my work. Even if there had been a misunderstanding regarding the booking—which I believe there was not—I feel that no customer should be treated in such a disrespectful manner. We all know- It is essential for a business to foster a welcoming and courteous atmosphere for its clients but who I am to say to this gentlemen.

Regrettably, this incident has left me with a negative impression of this garage which I will never use and will not ever recommend after reading all the negative reviews. As my only available day for an MOT service in the coming months was marred by appalling customer care of this staff member, I strongly suggest that this employee undergo training in basic customer service and unconscious bias.

Friendly and efficient. Took it for a repeat MOT after repairing the failed points from last week at a completely different garage. They noticed my wheels had been replaced the wrong way round (recently had a paint job).

Very kindly swapped them round for me and my car passed its repeat MOT.

Thanks server Karl and technician Derek, however they were all nice and friendly. Overall a helpful pleasant experience. Would definitely recommend.

Rang up yesterday saying my car was making a noise and asked if they could investigate. The very next day the test drove my car, put it on the ramp and identified the issue within minutes. After various phone calls they were then able to fix the issues that same day!

Nathan was a brilliant technician who took the time to properly explain show the issue to me. My server Karl was also brilliant, who worked to get me the most cost effective solution.

I recently contacted HiQ Garage in Kettering to book an MOT and was very disappointed with the service I received over the phone. The staff member I spoke to was abrupt, spoke very fast, and came across as intimidating and rude. Despite asking him politely to slow down, he continued speaking quickly, which made it difficult for me to follow the conversation — especially as English is not my first language.

When I requested a 9:00 AM appointment due to school drop-off commitments, I was abruptly told it wasn’t possible and offered 11:00 AM instead, with little flexibility or understanding. Throughout the call, the tone remained unprofessional and dismissive. When I informed him that I would not proceed with the booking due to the way I was being treated, he pretended he could not hear me — yet responded clearly when I ended the call, which only reinforced the sense of disrespect.

Unfortunately, this experience has led me to believe that HiQ has lost a customer due to unprofessional behaviour, and in my view, the manner in which I was treated also felt discriminatory. I will not be returning and would advise others to consider this before booking.

I had a bad experience earlier in the week at a local garage so booked another mot the mechanics were very polite knowledgeable and has restored my faith in honest, reliable mechanics.
This was at HiQ Tyres & Autocare Kettering.

Popped into the branch today to seek advice. I was greeted polity and received quick service by the staff.

This was my first visit to Hiq Kettering to sort out some issues with my vehicle. Had an online booking and got a call on same day to reconfirm the appointment. The place is easy to locate and staffs were so helpful and friendly. Nathan and Stuart did a great job and kept update through the whole process. No hidden charges and easy to approach. Now it's my go to garage.

The team at HiQ Kettering never ceases to amaze me with their talent and professionalism.
I been there on 15/01/2025 for my cars MOT and for a vehicle Check. The ambience here is always inviting and comfortable. Spoke with Karl on the front desk and he arranged the test immediately. Nathan was the technician I have dealt with and he is super helpful and polite.
In my experience, garages don’t often try this hard to please their customers, so I will definitely be back, and in the meantime recommend HiQ Kettering to anyone in need.
