HiQ Tyres & Autocare - Halton Omdömen 

Had my car serviced before Xmas . I had a clutch / brake issue which due to a busy period I was unable to have dealt with at HIQ due to their being fully booked . Sadly , I had to go elsewhere . An issue was spotted and I was advised to inform HIQ. ( Halton ) I did so and this was dealt with by Joe Marshall quickly and efficiently . I was offered a refund .I declined as always take my vehicles there and another service was due this month ( February) The service was deducted from my bill . I am a strong believer in shopping local . Joe dealt with great customer service . At all times he was contactable and responded with care and empathy . An excellent garage run by real people who do not hide behind technology . Highly recommend ! Well done guys !

I was travelling on the motorway with my daughter, when a warning light appeared for loss of tyre pressure.
My daughter found HiQ Tyres at Halton on her phone and we drove straight there.
Despite being busy, a lovely gentleman came out, checked my tyre pressures and helped me reset the tyre pressure light.

Couple of weeks ago, my car has been serviced by one of your garages. I decided to choose this garage ,because of availability and cost of the Service with MOT. I left my car as per email , early in the morning , shortly after opening hours. I was hoping , that everything will be ok- despite very bad reviews on the website. I hoped that all problems from the past has been resolved. Unfortunately I am just another unhappy customer.

1)Coolant before service was on L ( low level) , so I was expecting change/top up. They didn't touch the cap. Basic job not done!
2)Brake fluid not changed- I was told by manager : change not needed. He was really surprised , when I asked. I decided to pay for Major service due to a strong recommendation from service advisor ,last year , that brake fluid change is recommended every two years or three ( due to a low mileage of my car).Why did they refuse to complete the work required ? My car has been serviced there in past two years.

Screen wash not topped up- not a problem , but disappointment.
Bonnet catch not lubricated.
Timing belt not checked - not advice or single word in regards of this.
Not info, when brake pads and the discs should be replaced, how long the pads and discs can be used.

Manager after seeing me in a queue, and acknowledging information from me - what car I would like to collect after MOT and the Service, instructed me to pay requested amount of money over £500-before telling me and explaining - what have been done , what will need to be done in a future .Very rude and not a professional customer care .

Honestly ,I am not sure - what have been done with my car. I think I`ve been charged for Major car service- and maybe oil , and the oil filter only has been changed...rest visually checked.

I was on my way from Glasgow to Manchester to visit my son at university.
Had a warning light appear on the dash board that my back driver’s side tyre was loosing pressure.
Went to 2 places first : who said they could not help and could fit me in the following day . This was not an option!
I called HIQ in Lancaster to first ask if they could help me .
Guy I got through to ,was just so lovely .
Helped me by giving me a postcode of the garage and the whole team were just so helpful / polite nothing was too much trouble .
And they were busy!!!!

Great service from the Roy and the team at Halton branch today, crashed in on them at opening this morning with broken suspension and by lunchtime the new parts were fitted and I was back in the road.. Wouldn't go anywhere else with our vehicles...

Quick and efficient service

The team at HiQ fit us in at very short notice and provided expert advice about which tyres to choose for our needs. The service was excellent and everyone we spoke to was polite and respectful. Highly recommend for a genuine and honest service with competitive and transparent prices.

Reliable: what more can you ask? Agreed an MOT date in advance, it was done easily within the day with the usual helpful advice note. They know our car and have treated it well, so that's why we keep going back to them, despite the distance.

I've been taking my cars to HiQ in Halton & Lancaster for years now, and as usual their service is great.

This time for new tyres, brakes and interim service, all of which were delivered on time and to standard.

Whenever I’m in a pickle the guys at HiQ always go out of their way to help me out. They’re all friendly and explain what’s wrong really simply so I understand as I’m not mechanically minded. The only place I’d take our families cars.

HiQ Halton managed to fit our daughters car in for an last minute MOT despite extremely short notice as she’s a social worker on call over the Christmas period thanks to guys at HiQ Halton, Roy in particular her car is now safe and legal absolutely first class good old fashioned customer service , Roger

The process of booking my MOT was really straightforward and everyone I spoke to was very helpful and polite. The work was done incredibly quickly and Hi-Q provided excellent value for money. Would thoroughly recommend.
