HiQ Tyres & Autocare - East Ham Omdömen 

I took my VW Golf into HiQ, East Ham Branch on 02/02/26 to have the button its mirror switch repaired.Mr Raithatha told me that the whole panel must be replaced and not just the mirror switch which contained the button. I paid a deposit of £90 as deposit, and another £168 when i collected the car on 11/02/26.
Some while later I found the broken mirror switch on the floor of my car and realised that the whole panel was not replaced, just the mirror switch, and at an exorbitant charge. I was felt upset and betrayed and fiddled, but I kept the mirror old mirror switch in my car.
On 08/06/26, I gently moved the knob on the control panel to adjust the mirrors and it fell off. My daughter was in the front passenger seat.
I went to HiQ and showed the old mirror switch to him and told him that he did not change the whole control panel, but just the small mirror switch which he admitted, but which was documented on the invoice which I received only on 08/06/26 having gone twice to the garage to collect it after the repair was done.
According to VW in Wales, a mirror switch cost £75.95. I was charged £258 for this unit.
Mr Raithatha insisted that I must have broken the button on the mirror switch and so it would not be covered by the one year guarantee which is usually offered for genuine VW parts. He insisted that I broke the button and offered to fix it wìth some glue.
I reckon I have paid HiQ for three mirror switches instead of only one, and would bet on my life the mirror switch is not a genuine and new VW component.
I have been going there for years, never again. To cheat on a 76 year old, disabled woman is beyond the pale.
I have emailed a complaint to HiQ, but I am not holding my breath for a reply.There was access to a human to talk to.
Sad really.

Stay away from this Garage they Sabotage the cars. so they could make more money from regular customers. is up to you if you want to risk it. good luck.

Had front brake discs and pads fitted, dropped off vehicle and 1 hour later received call to collect. The car is now braking much better. Thanks to HiQ

I've been visiting the East Ham branch for a long time now. Like the garage, top-class service.
One thing needs changing though. On the website, it says Saturday is closed so you can't book online, but in reality, they are open on Saturday. Needs to be updated.

In my opinion its the best garage in east London, fantastic service, honest people and excellent value. I’ve now been using them for over 15 years 😊

Amar and the team have looked after all my cars, recently he's even looked after some work for me where I needed some professionals to fit some custom sills and custom seat covers for my BMW. Excellent everytime, professional and great value. Won't change my garage 5 stars

Great job, got two rear tyres changed. Needed run flats and they were the cheapest. Really friendly staff, I was in and out in less than an hour.
